The Pelican's Nest is an affordable home that is set up to accommodate family reunions or large unrelated groups that want plenty of space. Published rates are for 7 day rentals. Less than 7 day rentals are for off season only, please ask for a quote! We are located within shouting distance to our world famous Boardwalk and white beaches.......Our award winning downtown is only a few blocks away too......There are 2 large porches to enjoy your morning coffee, smell the salt air while enjoying your summer read, relax before hitting the boards or take a late afternoon nap...........

We had a fun time with close proximity to the Boardwalk. It was very easy to communicate with Matt. There was a little bit of a parking situation with our 5th car, but Matt sorted it out. We enjoyed our large group accommodation

Great place for a large, or extended family get together. A hidden gem in the middle of town.

Great for Budget-minded family vacations

My family (totaling 15 throughout the week) stayed at this home in August. We rented the top 2 floors which included 10 bedrooms plus… Here are our thoughts: the distance to the beach was perfect; there was enough bedrooms for everyone as family members came and went; very basis – nothing fancy; easy walk to most attractions; the deck was perfect for the family gatherings but thank goodness we had nice weather since there wasn’t really an ideal indoor place for everyone to hang out; we had instance responses from the owner and manager to any concerns or questions; AC units in every room really kept us very cool; and having some parking spaces was a big plus. Since the place is old there was wear-and-tear on some of the furniture and some dust in the nooks-and-crannies. All that said, it is definitely a place we’d consider again for our next family vacation.

A good deal

If you want an affordable place in the center of the action in OCNJ, this is a good choice. It has an unusual setup, rather like a dorm or hostel, which makes it quite comfortable for a mixed group of family. There are seemingly endless beds, all of which are very cozy. It is not fancy at all but it was clean and comfortable. If you’re looking for high end, this is not the house for you. But if you want a relaxed place that is very accessible to the beach and boardwalk, especially for a large group, it’s a good choice.

A Great Group Retreat - Clean & with Lots of Space

We chose this property for a group of 7 adults and one child, and there was plenty of space for more! Many of the bedrooms had en-suites, which made the logistics of getting ready easy and quick, and the entire home was clean. There was plenty of room for us to gather together, or disperse for some privacy. The street is quiet, and only a 2 block walk to the boardwalk and beach - Close enough for everyone in our group to enjoy. Off-street parking may be available, so ask the host! We were able to park 2 vehicles off street for our entire stay at no extra charge. The host was polite and checked in via text during our stay to provide anything we may have needed. This listing is for the 2nd and 3rd stories of the home (and each level has its own kitchen facilities) so as long as stairs are not an issue, I would recommend this location to any large group. The furnishings are homey, and everyone in our group said they would return here again.

It provides many rooms to allow for privacy, but great common space to get together. Most rooms have at least a sink and others have toilets and showers.

What makes this property unique

2 large porches and once you come down the stairs you are steps from everything great that Ocean City has to offer.
