About the host
Hosted by Tina

We live and work in the Bay Area and love sharing our favorite spaces with others. When we're not hosting, we enjoy boating, sailing, and homesteading. We also spend several months each year living the van life and soaking up the quiet beauty of our desert home. Hosting gives us the chance to connect with travelers and help them feel at home wherever they go.
Why they chose this property
We’re nestled on Bethel Island in the famous Sacramento–San Joaquin River Delta, a scenic and fertile region often called the “heart of the Delta” . Our property offers a unique blend: farmland on one side and open delta water on the other.
Situated just minutes from “fast water” — the widely sought-after main channels used for boating, skiing, and fishing—our location gives you access to over 1,000 miles of waterways across the Delta. Life here is easy but never dull: from tranquil vistas to active community events and water sports year-round.
Bethel Island is the Delta’s most populated island, offering full services for both permanent residents and weekend visitors. With farmland abutting our home and waterways on the other side, you’ll get the best of both worlds: agricultural charm and water-bound recreation.
We love the peaceful pace of this region—not just for its boating lifestyle and fishing and hunting culture, but for its natural beauty, sunsets over water, and rich Delta ecosystem.

What makes this property unique
Inside, you’ll find warm mid-century details, exposed beam ceilings, and thoughtfully curated furnishings—including a cozy lounge, a fully equipped kitchen, and a stylish bathroom with walk-in tile shower.
What really sets this place apart, though, are the small delights:
Feral peacocks wander through the property, adding color and wonder to your stay.
Farm-fresh eggs will be available for all our guests starting this fall (Sept/Oct).
You get the best of both worlds—quiet mornings with farmland views and front-row access to the Delta’s fast water for boating, fishing, and kayaking.
Enjoy sunsets on the dock or unwind indoors surrounded by clean design and vintage charm.
This is a space to slow down, reconnect with nature, and experience something truly different.
