Steps from the Seine and Musee d'Orsay! Elegant 1-bedroom.
This elegant 1-bedroom apartment located between the Musee d'Orsay and the rue du Bac on a quiet, sought after street, has been decorated and renovated to a high standard with quality materials and furnishings. This property is suitable for a couple, for two individuals or for a couple and an additional adult. Situated between two courtyards, the apartment is located on the first floor (ground for UK and Europe) and therefore has high ceilings. Beautiful parquet wood floors add warmth to both rooms as do the linen and cotton shades and curtains. On your left, from the entrance, the bright living/dining room looks out onto a huge courtyard, of which one wall is almost entirely a window. A high-quality sofa bed converts to trundle beds. Across from the sofa is a table which can seat up to four guests, but which can also be folded down to seat only two. Novels, tourist guides, art books, and museum guides have been provided for your convenience.
Leaving the living room, immediately on the left across from the entrance closet, you will find a German-made compact kitchen designed to include a maximum number of appliances in a small space. There is a dishwasher, fridge/freezer, stove top, mini-oven, tea kettle, and Nespresso maker. The well-stocked kitchen has enough plates, silverware, and cookware to prepare meals as you would at home.
To the right of the entrance is the bedroom with a queen-sized bed. Wall lights on either side of the bed allow for independent reading and warm ceiling lights provide a cozy atmosphere. The bedroom looks out onto a courtyard and is extremely quiet. Across from the bed is a small flat screen TV and chest of drawers. There are over 100 channels available including the main English language channels.
From the bedroom, you access the gorgeous bathroom fitted with Duravit furniture and a beautiful large tiled shower. A niche built into the tiles will hold your shower cosmetics and there is plenty of shelf space for toiletries. The bathroom also includes an efficient combination washer dryer which does a good job drying clothes quickly.
Please contact the owner who will be glad to provide you with more details on this lovely property which, in our opinion, is in one of the best locations for your vacation in Paris.

Great location for visiting all the Paris landmarks. The apartment is nice and made a good base for our stay. The bed is comfortable but the room needs darkening curtains bc the ambient light makes for light sleeping. The washer/dryer was a great amenity. Communication was good and made for easy check in and out. Our last night the upstairs neighbor was very loud so be aware that you are in an apartment complex but we truly enjoyed our time.
We loved our stay for many reasons: Perfect location, safety of neighborhood, a very functional, clean, and quiet apartment, surrounding restaurants & museums, and just steps away from the Seine.

Thank you so much for choosing our apartment! We are so glad you enjoyed the location and amenities.
This was a nice place to stay. It’s ground floor and easily accessible to amenities and sites (the Louvre is just across the bridge). All the windows look out onto shared courtyards, so if you need privacy the curtains will have to stay closed. Thanks to the hosts for accommodating our very irregular arrival time!

We are so glad you enjoyed your stay. Happy to accommodate early check-ins when possible. We hope to welcome you again one day!
Not quite as elegant as envisioned, but very good and satisfactory in all respects. Nice having a living room area to relax in. Shower was excellent, as was the bed, other than having to crawl in from the foot. Never used the washer, but it looks virtually new and very good. Location is really very good, quiet street just off a busier one, very near the Musee d'Orsay, Seine, Tuileries, and an easy walk to Metro.
The apartment was steps away from the Seine and just across the river from the Louvre. Several metro stops were near by to get around the city. Walkable distance from the Arc de Triomphe. The apartment itself was quite cozy, perfect for two adults.
Great location! Appropriate for 2-3 people, as described. Bed was very good: stable, you don’t get woken up if partner turns around. Washer/dryer worked. Little kitchen area complete. We had a great stay! Thank you!

Thank you so much for choosing our apartment! We are so glad you enjoyed the comfort of the amenities and the location!
Great experience. Fantastic location - near major sites, metro, RER, grocery store, and lots of cafes/restaurants. Host was very helpful. Apartment is exactly as described - small but efficient. Great for 2 adults.
Perfect for a couple. We never tried the extra couch/bed so can't comment but the space is just not ideal for more than 2 for any length of time. It was clean, shower and bathroom and wash/dry machine were super. Walking distance to most sites and lots of fabulous restaurants. We stayed a month and it was perfect!

Great location and attentive owner and manager.
This property was ideally located for a quick girls' trip to Paris. While not a large property, it had everything we needed to be comfortable. We loved walking to the museums (D'Orsay and Louvre) and in the parks and shopping (mostly window shopping). Very nice restaurants located close by. We had a small glitch on arrival due to our delayed flight but the owner and her manager were very prompt in retrieving us from the corner boulangerie and taking us to the apartment located just a short distance away.
Louvre & Orsay a short walk away. Eric Kayser boulangerie on the street. Nearby metro & bus stops. Comfortable bed (easier to get in and out of than I expected from photos), great shower & bathroom. Adequate kitchen with microwave, toaster oven, dishwasher, etc. Bright and sunny separate living area. Ground floor was safe & so easy for coming & going. A fantastic place for my husband & myself. We loved the apartment!!

Thank you so much for choosing our apartment for 1 month! We aimed to optimize the space and amenities and are so pleased you enjoyed your stay in this wonderful location.
We stayed 10 days at this cute little apartment and it was perfect! It’s a very quiet building that is close to everything! Within a mile or two of most of the major attractions, as well as nearby metro stations. Lots of good restaurants close by and a pharmacy right down the street. Also a short walk to the Seine where we went for a picnic or two. It was great being able to do laundry as well. Not much in the way of cooking stuff, but I didn’t come to Paris to eat my own cooking, so not a problem for me! Shower worked great and plenty of hot water. Communication with owner was quick and helpful! 10/10 recommend!!!

Thank you so much for choosing our apartment! We are glad to have been of service and thank you for your comments on the space and amenities.
We really enjoyed staying in this Paris apartment. I was looking for a place close to the Musee d'Orsay and it was a short walk (4 minutes). It is also close to so many other sites and things to do while we were staying in Paris. Therefore, everything we wanted to do was within walking distance.
There are lots of restaurants in the area. There is a marvelous restaurant immediately next door, but if you want to go you need to make a reservation.
This apartment is quiet and well-appointed. We had everything we needed and wanted. The biggest surprise was the shower. It had great water pressure!
I would definitely stay here again!

A bit cramped
Been renting apartments in Paris for the last 10 years and this apartment was quite small. The bed was between 2 walls so in order to get out you had to slide down to the foot of the bed. My husband kept banging his arm and head against the wall during the night. The apartment had a bit of a musty odor also. The shower was the best asset to this place. Loved the area but I need a bigger place!

Surprised at the 1-star rating on this lovely property, which is maintained to a high standard, we'll take this opportunity to respond.
The layout of the bedroom and size of the apartment are clearly indicated on the website and photographs show the position of the bed. We actually designed the bedroom that way and chose to purchase the largest bed possible which would fit in the space (160 x 200 cm) for the comfort of our guests. We are sorry that a renter banged himself, but would say that has little to do with the position of the bed as it is quite wide.
Our caretaker is extremely professional, and airs out and cleans the apartment meticulously. Positive ratings on all of our properties attest to this.
The linens are professionally laundered. We are therefore surprised at the comment, and again at the rating.
We recommend that renters who want to stay in a large apartment rent a large apartment.
We greatly enjoyed our five day stay at this wonderfully located apartment. Five minutes to Musee D'Orsay and another five to the Tuileries. Five more to the Louvre. A three kms walk to the Eiffel. Just perfect for grandparents and their nine year old granddaughter. Great restaurants on Rue du Bac with a delicious bakery right on the corner. Also a fromagerie a few doors down and a convenience store just around the other corner. The flat was clean with all the accessories. (maybe the bread knife was missing.) Large comfortable bed in one room and sofa couch in main room which is not huge (could use an extra chair). Nice clean bathroom with lots of towels and a combined washer/dryer which was great to have. Facing an inner courtyard with no traffic, it was the most quiet place I've stayed at in a long time. Highly recommended.

Thank you so much for choosing our apartment! We are glad you enjoyed the amenities and location!
This was my fifth trip to Paris, but it had been 16years. It was my partner's first trip since her teens, in 1979.For us, it was the perfect location for a perfect vacation! The check-in was seamless. Though, I was a bit surprised that the 'greeter' did not even ask my name, or confirm it was me. No big deal. The apartment was warm, secure, comfortable and just the right amount of space for 2 people. There was no need to communicate with our hosts (thankfully) during our stay, but leading up to our arrival our host was very attentive to our questions.Everything was generally "as advertised". Everything worked; the bed was comfortable, and it was very quiet. We will return to Paris in the future and we hope that this apartment is available when we do!For 2 people looking for a great location to explore Paris from, I would highly recommend this apartment.Thank you.B Hopkinson

Thank you for your review! We are thrilled that you enjoyed your stay in our apartment and glad that you found the amenities and service to your satisfaction. We hope to welcome you back in the future.
1. the location for visiting everything a tourist would want to see is unbeatable. We walked to everything: NotreDame, LeMarais, Catacombs, EiffelTower, Louvre, Musee Dorsay, Orangerie, Luxembourg Gardens, Tuilleries, Opera House. 2. the location for convenient dining and shopping is also perfect! wonderful cafes, markets, specialty shops, restaurants within 1-2 blocks. However, the street itself is super quiet (in a good way!)3. the apartment itself is comfortable, clean, and has everything you could need. We were 3 adults (mom and daughters) and it was perfect for us. It's not large, but it didn't feel crowded either. The apartment is on the first floor off a courtyard. We rarely saw/heard neighbors. The living area is really cute but we used the couch trundle bed and left it open all day so it was essentially a second bedroom. Both the trundle mattress and the queen bed were very comfortable. The bathroom has a good shower and a washer/dryer. Kitchen was equipped with everything you could need! We all agreed we would 100% stay in the same apt if/when we return!

Looks online were better. There were numerous light bulbs out, including in the kitchen, the spot next to the bed nearest the wall, the bathroom mirror lit up on only one side. Lighting in general was not very bright. We had to use the phone light to see what setting the heater was on. The shower head appeared to have not been cleaned recently (black mold appeared to be in the individual heads). You need to specify to non-French residents the entire phone number (including the French country code) because we tried calling and texting Valerie when we arrived and she never got either of them.

We loved our time living in an apartment in a beautiful and well placed location. We walked to almost every place except for Montmarte. I truly felt the experience of living in Paris, our hostess Stacey left very clear recommendations on places within a block walking distance of everything we needed (or didn't know we wanted!). From the cheese shop, to little cafes, boulangeries, and the Monproix it made our stay simple and delicious. I loved the space in the apartment, and every space is used to its fullest advantages. The bathroom itself too was huge and had a washer/dryer so that helped us stay within carry on luggage. The bed was SUPER comfortable, had black out curtains perfect for adjusting to the time zone, and was very quiet. We had one small issue with the internet (no ones fault) and Stacey sent someone over to fix it for us. Thank you for making our mother/son trip so lovely!
