Lovely site on the lake. House was nice, clean, comfortable. Lake was warm, clean, and the area by this site was clear of the water plants. Nice fire pit.

We enjoyed our stay at the Sunrise Cottage! The space was clean and just the right size for our family, and we really loved being able to walk right out the back door to the lake, we saw some beautiful sunrises! Our kids loved being able to go out and play in the sand and fish off the dock. We decided to try out the sauna and thought it was a good and unique amenity to have available. The owners were wonderful to rent from!! They were quick to answer all the questions I had before actually renting and after we got there also, never making us feel like we were being a bother. If we ever travel to Minnesota again we would definitely stay here again!

We are born and raised Minnesotans. We believe the best memories are made while being stuck together in cozy quarters or outdoors! The purpose of our cabin is to provide a space to return to the basics - family time, nature and getting away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Why they chose this property

Our cabin is right on the shores of Lake Mille Lacs which is of course the best part! It is also within walking distance to the casino which makes it a special, unique location. There are also state parks, restaurants and shops within a short driving distance.

What makes this property unique

There is no road between our cabin and the lake. Our beach is sandy and shallow, perfect for kids! We just installed a wood-fired sauna and we are loving the relaxation and wellness it has brought to our property!
