The location was clean and comfortable and gave us a home base for visiting the area. Check-in/check-out was straightforward and easy. Love the area and we will be back!
The location was great for us. It allowed us to explore several lakes and hiking trails as day trips. The lodging was clean and comfortable. Every evening, a family of 3-4 deer stopped by to graze and then wandered off. In the nearby Adirondack Lake, we could hear the loons at night when we went outside. The room was clean and quiet. Being away from the hustle and bustle of 'downtown' Indian Lake allowed us to take the kayaks off the car roof when we didn't need them. But being close to the town allowed us to go to restaurants easily, view the antiques sidewalk sale, and buy a few groceries without having to drive far. Overall, it was a great location and we had a great time.

When my wife walked in, she said this is nice. You did really well booking this at first. I was confused about the address, but it turned out to be correct. Went paddling on Adirondack Lake right nearby. There are floating islands there. we went to visit the Adirondack Museum because I built a boat based on one of Henry Rushton‘s sailing canoes, 52 years ago
We came up for a brief stay while picking up our daughter from camp. The space was incredibly tidy, owners were very responsive and helpful. I didn't realize it was the downstairs of their house, so maybe I didn't read the posting well and that's my fault. My only suggestion is that the bed is right next to two glass doors- they do have shades, it just would have been nice if they were blackout shades because it's a lot of light. Had a great time, would stay again.
Beautiful and convenient location right in Indian Lake. What was really nice was the closeness of convenience and to the wilderness at the same time. It was nice that I was able to pop down to the Stewart’s when I realized I forgot my coffee creamer! Little things like that do you make a big difference. The place itself is absolutely perfect. It’s clean and cozy. I love the Adirondack chairs underneath the overhang and the fire pit as well. And of course there’s so much to do since you’re surrounded by beautiful mountains and lakes. We were able to get there at peak foliage so it was especially spectacular! The host Daniel was excellent at communication and responded speedily to any questions I had. There’s only one very small suggestion I would have: maybe get a dimmer on those kitchen lights. They are a bit bright. The other lights have dimmers. The kitchen lights in the morning can be very bright if you’re just trying to make some coffee. Or maybe just a lamp would work too. Just my suggestion. Just a great place to stay, and hopefully we can come back!
Enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property. As we drove up the gravel road we were met by this beautiful property in a secluded setting. Check in was a breeze, as we entered the downstairs apartment we were very impressed. We had everything we needed for a comfortable, cozy stay, We were very impressed by the cleanliness and well thought out design. Added to my favorites! Thank you!
