Cozy Cabin Creek Getaway

Relax with the family, your pups and kitties at this peaceful cabin. Enjoy the secluded and private location, but close to all the amenities you will need. Sit on the front porch overlooking the creek while you sip your morning coffee and eat yummy bakery delights from the local bakery in downtown Oxford. Enjoy a nice evening over the firepit and string lights, while you roast marshmallows or gaze up at the stars.

Our cabin is a 1-bedroom loft cabin in Oxford, NC. This gorgeous property features 1 queen bed and 1 queen sofa bed, perfect for a small group of guests. With amenities like heating, AC, full kitchen with dishwasher, washer/dryer, you'll feel right at home. We have a smart tv in the living room and bedroom and fast Wi-Fi. The bathroom has shower/tub combo with double vanity sinks and very spacious. Our cabin has a fenced in yard so feel free to bring your doggie and/or doggies. We allow cats as well. The bathroom comes equipped with a hair dryer, towels , and bathmats for your convenience. Our cabin has a stove, microwave, refrigerator, washer /dryer. We have k-cup coffee maker, toaster, blender, pots/pans and then some.

Relax and enjoy your coffee or favorite/cocktail on the front porch or the screened in back porch. This is a great place while you are waiting to close on your new house, visiting family, on a work trip, or simply just want a few days to escape and relax. We are 30 minutes to downtown Durham, Wake Forest, and Raleigh.

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Leave all used towels on the floor in bathroom, any towels that have been washed leave folded on top of dryer.
All trash must be put in trash bag and placed inside trash bin outside. All food must be removed from cabinets, refrigerator and microwave.
Pickup any trash around the cabin or on the front porch or back porch. Leave fire pit covered and chairs arranged how they were upon arrival. Turn off all lights.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Tricia, our host, was very prompt with communication and the cabin was as described. It was a perfect get-away-from-the-hustle-of-the-Thanksgiving-holiday: close enough to town that we were able to enjoy all that the town has to offer, while still feeling remote and away from it all. We traveled with our four poodles, and the cabin was comfortable for all of us. We especially enjoyed watching the chickens play from the cabin window! Definitely highly recommend.

Wonderful place to stay. As a woman traveling alone, I felt very safe as the cabin is located behind the owners house. I did not realize this from the description or I missed it but once there, I really did, like, the setup. You still feel secluded as you are surrounded by trees so you feel as ifyou have no neighbors. My stay was in the fall and the scenery was beautiful with the creek in view of the front porch and all the fall colors in the woods beside and behind the house.They asked if I would like some farm fresh eggs, so I had those for my breakfast and that was very nice.They told me I was their first customer, and there were a few little things that needed to be tweaked, but I'm sure they will do that. Great communication and very professional. I would highly recommend this as a beautiful place to stay in a lovely and safe setting.
