The apartment was cozy and beachy. We enjoyed our stay very much. Beautiful stylish pool, thoughtful kitchen appliances. The only regret was not having a dryer for the towels and laundry I did there. A clothesline would help! We are grateful for an affordable spot near the water!

Had to reach out to the host for check in, no check out instructions were given. No toilet paper upon arrival, no shower soaps, couch had dog hair on it, pool wasn’t so private. Home had a sewer smell and the neighbors upstairs were noisy.

This stay had so much potential…but the apartment seemed not well cared for. It smelled of sewage and rotten eggs for 4 of the 5 days of our stay. Although this was eventually resolved, it took 4 days. The kitchen was not well equipped, I had to buy a can opener. There were only 4 old, mismatched and bleach stained bath towels. Not enough bedding for the living room trundle bed, 1 blanket for 2 beds. Laundry was still in the dryer upon our arrival. There was 1 roll of TP upon arrival. No smoke detectors, just wires hanging from the ceiling. Open shelving with dishes on it was covered in dust. There was visible mold in the bathroom and the frosted contact paper on the window in the shower was curled and didn’t cover the whole window. On a positive note, the location was great and we enjoyed the pool.

Everything was good. If I had to criticize anything I would say the pool wasn’t as inviting as I would have liked. No railing to help get in and out. I have a bad knee so it made it hard. Something needs to be done in bathroom. It was very humid and had an odor. All in all had a nice visit. Thank you

Upon check in, we noticed a very strong sewer smell. I contacted the host and he sent his handy man over, then the plumber. The smell only dissipated when we opened the bathroom window and left the exhaust fan on. The shower would not drain and was ready to overflow before my shower was complete. The TV in the bedroom did not work. All of the dishes, cups, glasses, silverware and pots and pans needed washed before we could use them. The exterior was in poor condition. We swept up the debris, sand, dirt and organized all of the pool chairs, cleaned the grill, and organized all of the kids toys and pool toys that were a mess and all over the place. The pool was clean, but not heated. We had a really nice vacation, but we were not impressed with our living conditions. It was not very clean, and really needs some TLC. The host was very concerned and as helpful as he could be, but lives out of state and could only do so much. I feel bad for him, because I feel like he might just not have the right people in place to make the place a nicer place to stay. It does have potential!!
