Charming farmhouse with AC in Shawnee National Forest- 3 bedrooms

Disconnect from the world and reconnect with your family at this cabin nestled within the Shawnee National Forest.

There are 240 private acres to hike, fish, play or explore. There are also 33,000 acres of Shawnee National Forest surrounding our property for those looking to hunt! There is a creek that runs along next to the property that is available for swimming or drinking your morning coffee while listening to it trickle down over the rocks.

Not included in rate: there is a building right next to cabin. It is 1000 sq ft that includes a bathroom, kitchen and pool table. This building is great for entertaining or get togethers. Please message me if this something you would like access to for an extra fee.

For those looking to relax, explore or make memories with your family, this is the place to be.

No hunting on our 240 acres. There is plenty of Shawnee National Forest connected to our farm that is available to hunt on.

It was away from it all. We loved sitting on the porch. Our labs loved napping on the porch, and exploring and swimming in the creek. We loved it and would love to come back sometime. They provided everything you could possibly need and then some.

We love this place. It is so peaceful and relaxing. The phone works in spots if you need it. The dogs ran to exhaustion. The creek was up and the trees were beautiful. The house has everything you could need. I love the baskets in the bathroom (anything and everything) love them.

Wonderful place for spring break trip with three teens and a dog. Property is huge, with a beautiful large creek just a short hike down the hill, cow pastures, and a clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully stocked house. Lexie does an amazing job caring for the home and their guests. We’ve been taking similar trips for spring breaks for 8 years and this is our favorite spot yet!
