The house was right in Shawnee Forest. It had quite a few amenities, including a second house available with a pool table. The house was stocked with plenty of items for food, outdoor grilling, and a fire pit. There are plenty of hiking areas in the area and on the property. My wife and I brought our two kids and enjoyed the time.

This is a beautiful place to relax and hangout, private and secluded. Owners were very responsive with questions l. We totally enjoyed our stay.

Very comfortable and clean accommodations for me and two adult sons. So private! We enjoyed walking to the creek on property and looking at the brilliant night sky. Had a fire and ate s’mores (provided by host). Well stocked cabin had everything we needed. We hiked in Shawnee and Garden of the gods wilderness. Absolutely beautiful. Had fun playing games on the covered deck. We brought most of our own groceries but there is a mart nearby for snack reload. Perfect weekend unwind!!

Such a stunning property - beautiful views, freshly mowed trails, and a lovely creek! The house is great! Very spacious, clean, comfortable, and the host has everything you may have forgotten stocked! Could not be more pleased with this property. My dogs had a lovely time, too. So much to see and do! My first trip out of town since a major loss in my life, and this was just what I needed.

Wonderful place for spring break trip with three teens and a dog. Property is huge, with a beautiful large creek just a short hike down the hill, cow pastures, and a clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully stocked house. Lexie does an amazing job caring for the home and their guests. We’ve been taking similar trips for spring breaks for 8 years and this is our favorite spot yet!

Was very pleased with everything. One note the entrance road is long and gravel that had been recently graded and was soft. We were in trucks so it was not a problem for us.

It was away from it all. We loved sitting on the porch. Our labs loved napping on the porch, and exploring and swimming in the creek. We loved it and would love to come back sometime. They provided everything you could possibly need and then some.

We love this place. It is so peaceful and relaxing. The phone works in spots if you need it. The dogs ran to exhaustion. The creek was up and the trees were beautiful. The house has everything you could need. I love the baskets in the bathroom (anything and everything) love them.

This is the place to be! Lexie was fantastic! She went above and beyond. We rented the house and side building for our son's rehearsal dinner. She helped to coordinate decorations and hair for the wedding. Very clean and peaceful. She had everything you might forget in the bathrooms. Excellent communication. If you are looking for something for a family event,etc. this is the place! They are also pet friendly. Thank you again for being the perfect host.
