The home was very nice and well stocked with basic necessities. The rooms were all clean and tidy and the home is very spacious. The only cons were the ovens were difficult to figure out how to operate and there were ants on the main floor primarily in the kitchen by the oven and in the bathroom. Overall nice home and great place to stay.
Beautiful kitchen. The step down room next to kitchen was perfect for the 1 year old and toys. Thank you for having baby gates available. We enjoyed playing the nostalgic, family board games on site. Deck has new floor, but we avoided the railings. Firepit area was great for s'mores. There is a park with a barn and livestock, trails, picnic area and playground toys less than a mile away.
If you need a large home for a family reunion or to spend a Holiday with many family members like we did this, this property is perfect. Plenty of room and probably one of the most well-stocked kitchens we have ever stayed in. Not to mention the entire second kitchen in the basement. We rented for a long Thanksgiving weekend for a family of 12 and had space for everyone. The only odd thing was the lack of a TV in any of the living rooms which is great for family time, but could have been an issue for watching our sports-crazy family for Thanksgiving football. Fortunately, we were able to move a TV from one of the bedrooms to the main lving area and enjoyed football along with family time.
