Great location—right next to S mountain trails and a five-minute walk to town, if that. Clean, comfy, well-stocked kitchen and bathroom. Stayed cool, even in the summer. Will be back.

We really enjoyed staying at this property - it was roomy and very comfortable, unique with fun touches, the kitchen adequately equipped, great deck area (which unfortunately we didn’t use) and loved the wood stove as it was cool and rainy while we were there. The location was very walkable into town and communication with the host was clear and appreciated their local recommendations. The drive in a little tricky and a bear visited the dumpster one night, so I might suggest a reminder to folks not to leave anything on the deck. I would definitely stay here again on a return trip to Salida.

Fantastic home within walking distance of downtown Salida. Check in was easy and the property was very clean. Great communication with the rental owners. The house had everything I needed. And the king size bed was amazingly comfortable. Charming and cozy. I would definitely stay here again.

Great communication with the host who was responsive. Glad I arrived in daylight hours as night was dark in this location and CR road signs were not obvious. Very easy walk to downtown Salida and walking, biking and hiking were super easy to access. Somehow it is both quiet/remote and near everything.

Host lives in attached unit and was very welcoming and friendly - it was even ready for an early check in. The house is adorable - very clean and the beds were so comfy. The wood burning fireplace was wonderful with lots of extra firewood. Kitchen is well-stocked with all of the essentials - even a good selection of spices and coffee filters too. Beautiful view of the sunrise over the mountains from the front porch. The location is amazing - easy walk across the river to downtown. Tons of parking. Our family of 4 and our dogs loved it. Highly recommend!
