If you are looking for a great place to stay in Tulum, Zama Village is one of the newest developments with stunning 3 story condo buildings in a lovely tropical setting. Our 'Paradise in Paradise' 3rd floor penthouse with expansive rooftop terrace offers one of the best 2 bedroom apartments in the Aldea Zama Village . . midway between the beaches of Tulum and the town with many restaurants and shops. The main room features a sectional sofa with large flat-screen TV and sound system, a dining room table seating four, and a modern fully equipped kitchen. Our King master bedroom has a private bathroom (marble shower) and opens to a terrace with whirlpool tub facing the jungle and comfortable chair with ottoman . . a great place to relax in the evening. The second bedroom has two twin beds and opens to a second bathroom and another terrace with a hammock. The rooftop terrace features a round whirlpool tub facing the jungle, a palapa (covered area) with seats and dining table, a rattan lounger with umbrella, plus a charcoal grill with wet bar and counter for preparing meals. A moon-lit night up on the terrace enjoying the whirlpool tub or dinner with friends under the stars can be really special. Our condo also has a washer/dryer, WiFi internet service and cable TV with DVD player for watching movies.

Beautiful. Had everything we needed, grocery store close by.

The home is very nicely decorated and comfortable. I would stay there again but would rent a car or hire a driver. We had to take a cab everywhere. After the rain in the morning the birds came close in the trees. It was great to watch. The other tenants/guests were all so friendly and helpful. The pool was the perfect end to the day. Thank you so much for making this a relaxing vacation.

My name is Esteban Castaneda and I live near Cancun (about one hour drive north of Tulum). I was born in Mexico City and moved to the Yucatan peninsula in 2007 and discovered 'the magic' of Tulum a few years ago. I purchased this condo in 2012 to have more time to enjoy Tulum, the beaches and the town. There are many wonderful things to see and explore in this area including several major Mayan ruins (Tulum, Coba and Chithzen itza).

Why they chose this property

The Zama Village condo's have a meandering pool through the courtyard ideal for children and adults. The entire Aldea Zama development is a master planned commercial and residential development of outstanding design and will integrate restaurants and shops when finished. There is 24 hour security for this 'gated community' although Tulum is a relatively peaceful village. The Tulum Mayan ruins and fabulous beaches are about 1 mile away from Zama Village.

What makes this property unique

The main bedroom hot tub facing the jungle gives me more peace and relaxation than any thing else in this world. I also enjoy a lot having barbecue reunions at the private rooftop. And explore the area riding a bike gives me my session of exercise and adventure.
