Amazing house, great location, 5 minutes to in out, Costco and 10 minutes to pretty much any beach in the area and sea world. We do a yearly trip and this might be one we keep coming back to, not to mention AC which is great when it’s hot.

The house is amazing, but the management of the house was not great. The house is spacious and clean and has an amazing view from the deck. The manager didn't seem to be prepared for our arrival. We had a several issues that could have easily been avoided. (1) We didn't receive a code to check into the house until about 2 hours prior to check in - after I had called and messaged to request the info. This interrupted our time exploring San Diego, as we weren't sure if / when we would be able to check in. (2) When we arrived the house was quite hot. There were no instructions for turning on the AC, so we ended up having to call the manager again to figure out how to cool down the house. There is no AC unit in the 2nd bedroom, and the manager / owner kindly ordered a fan for that room. The fan was delivered to the house and we unpackaged it and set it up for use (late) on the night of our arrival. (3) Large packages kept being delivered to the sidewalk and the front porch, blocking the front door, porch and sidewalk. The way all of this was handled was surprising, as we paid to rent the property and expected it to be ready for us without obstacles when we arrived. Hopefully they will get things figured out, because the house is lovely. The house - 5 starsThe management of the house - 3 stars

Thank you for your feedback, Suzanne. I’m glad you enjoyed the house and its views. For clarity, the AC is controlled by a remote and we’ll make sure future guests have clearer instructions on that. As for the packages, unfortunately we don’t control delivery schedules, but we’ll do our best to keep the entryway clear moving forward. I appreciate your suggestions and will continue working to improve the guest experience.
