About this property
Casa La Bohème
The Wild Child Loft
A soulful, Bali loft wooden house nestled between preserved jungle and mountain forest in Nosara, Costa Rica.
This is not a rental.
It’s my home.
I live between Nosara, Europe, and California — always orbiting around beauty, the Earth, my son, our community, the ocean, and the art of slowing down. This loft holds those values in its bones. It is a space for sacred pause — a space where children play barefoot, art lives on the walls, and the jungle breathes around you.
I open it to those who will care for it as I do. Not as tourists, but as kin. If you’re looking for something polished or hotel-like, this is not the place. But if you’re looking for a home with soul — lived-in, loved, and layered with meaning — you are welcome here.
⸻
The Space
The loft is simple and poetic, cradled between jungle and sky.
Behind the house, a preserved jungle hums with life.
In front, the Wild Child Playgarden unfolds in joyful color and sound.
And beyond it, the mountain forest rises — with a waterfall that sings gently day and night.
The space opens wide. Doors swing open to let the breeze in. You’ll hear children laughing, insects chanting, birds calling to the dawn. And at night, you can lie in the hammock net and feel the stars watching over you.
⸻
Inside, you’ll find:
• One queen bed
• A cozy sleeping nook or child’s bed
• A small outdoor kitchen on the deck
• A lovingly curated library with books on parenting, womanhood, spirituality, and Earth wisdom
• A private cedar sauna for slow evenings and inner stillness
• Paintings by Luis Tamani — reminders of the unseen world
• A few simple objects gathered from travels and stories
Everything is functional, but nothing is flashy. The beauty here is in the feeling — not in the perfection.
⸻
Who is this for?
This is for someone who understands that home is energy.
For those who live gently, who love the land, who don’t mind ants or falling leaves.
For the mother seeking rest.
The father seeking softness.
The child seeking space to roam.
The writer, healer, artist, or pilgrim needing a nest.
Whether you’re alone, with a partner, or with your little ones, this place will meet you exactly where you are.
⸻
Surroundings
• The beaches — Guiones, Pelada, and Ostional — are 10–15 minutes away
• You’ll need a car, or at least a bike
• Town is nearby, but you’ll feel far away
• The waterfall across the road runs from May to November
• The Playgarden out front may be full of children — or quiet and still — depending on the rhythm of the week
⸻
A Few Requests
• Please treat this space with tenderness
• Please love the jungle and everything that comes with it — the mud, the bugs, the beauty
• Please turn off lights at night and let the stars shine
• Please read a book. Or write one. Or just lie down and listen
⸻
If You Come
Come not as a guest, but as a friend.
Come ready to slow down.
Come to be quiet, playful, curious.
To remember. To soften. To return to your rhythm.
This is the Wild Child Loft.
A sacred little corner of the Earth, waiting for you to arrive.
