Just what I look for in a cabin. A nice working fireplace. Cozy spots to read and enjoy the views. Great hiking nearby. And comfortable beds! We had everything we needed, the place was well furnished, and the kitchen was well stocked. Highly recommended.

We really enjoyed our stay. House was clean and had everything we needed. We were in town for an event at Rainbow Lodge which is located near the home. Host had excellent communication. All questions were responded to within a short time.

This cabin near Donner Summit was a perfect little mountain retreat. It’s cute, very clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully stocked with everything you’d need. We loved the quiet setting and the easy access to trail heads, the river and a short drive away, Donner Lake and Truckee. The host was super responsive and helpful. The only thing to note is that the interior stairs are a little steep, which might matter for some guests. Overall, a great stay and a place we’d definitely consider booking again.
