Momma Bear's Log Cabin – Family Fun, Wildlife, & Comfort!

This charming 3-story log cabin has everything your family needs for a relaxing mountain getaway—plus a few surprises like a private hot tub, games and a cozy theater room! Located on a main wildlife thruway, you may even catch a glimpse of local bears—just be sure to watch from a safe distance!

*Downstairs can be cool—heaters are provided, but they are not child-proof. Please use caution with young children around heating devices.

Only toilet paper should be flushed. No wipes, sanitary products, or foreign items—even those labeled "flushable"—may be disposed of in toilets.

The cabin was everything we could have imagined. The hot tub was used every night. Location was a plus, so close to Gatlinburg. Bear included! We saw a black bear the last hour we were there.

Our host was welcoming, and our needs were met. Our family enjoyed the cabin, watching movies, relaxing in the hot tub, playing games, and cooking. The cabin was larger than we anticipated and very comfortable. My husband spotted a bear close to the property. The ride up and down the mountain was a bit challenging in that the road is narrow, and there are some places with no guard rails.

Fantastic place with close proximity to Gatlinburg. Host was excellent with communication. House was well stocked with all we needed for our stay. My only suggestion or request would be to add a shelf in the upstairs bathroom for hair tools, etc as the pedestal sink doesn’t allow space for things. I would also love to see a few mirrors in the bedrooms to allow people to get ready while the bathroom is occupied. But those are personal preference things and don’t affect my review of the place. I’ll be saving this rental for our next trip to the mountains! Side note: we saw bear every day from the deck. It was fun watching the mama with her babies.
