Perfectly situated on the east end of Destin (Miramar Beach) the Frangista Beach community is the perfect location for your next visit to Destin. With Miles of Sugar white sand and crystal clear water, beach side living simply doesn’t get any better. The beach front area in this community is nice and wide so you will not have any trouble find your spot to hunker down on the beach. You can also reserve your spot each morning through the Frangista Beach service vendor (La Dolce Vita) These aren’t your typical chair and umbrella beach boys, the guys at La Dolce Vita can assist with all of your beach sports needs including but not limited to; bike rentals, jet skis, parasailing, surf board rental, boogie boards, snorkeling, beach going wheel chairs and even a floating adventure park! If you grow tired of the surf and sand take a dip in the Frangista Beach community pool located in the center of the neighborhood on Los Angeles Street.

The water sports and outdoor activities wear you out head on over to the Silver Sands premium outlet mall where you will find 120 designer outlets and 10 restaurant options (just 2 minutes from the heart of Frangista Beach!) In addition to the restaurants found at the outlet mall you will find countless dining and shopping options within a 10 mile radius of your community including two beach front options within walking distance (the Whales Tail and Pompano Joe's) If you are looking for a bit of nightlife head on over to the village at Baytowne Wharf; here you will find numerous night spots, upscale dining, zip lines and activities for the kids and fireworks all summer long! (Just 5 minutes east of Frangista Beach) The Grand Blvd shopping center just outside the gates of Sandestin offers even more upscale dining options, boutique shopping and a brand new movie theater!

You will have your pick of 8 fantastic golf courses in the immediate area including top rated courses like the Raven at Sandestin, Sandestin links, Baytowne at Sandestin, Seascape, Kelly Plantation, Regatta Bay, Emerald Bay and Burnt Pine. Perfect location!

We had a great experience at Good Times. The house was perfect for our family, and being right on the beach is the way to go! I think more dishes, utensils, etc would be helpful…but otherwise great stay!

Exceptional!

Cleanliness and amenities of property were exceptional! There's a small, electric grill that was quite easy to figure out, and the kitchen was well-stocked with all equipment. Our family of 5 enjoyed our stay tremendously and customer service through Ocean Reef was fantastic (easy check in, check out, etc.).

GREAT PLACE TO STAY WITH A BEAUTIFUL BEACH

THE CONDO WAS CLEAN AND WE WOULD STAY HERE ON OUR NEXT TRIP TO THIS LOCATION. THE BEACH WAS BEAUTIFUL AND ONLY A SKIP AWAY FROM HAVING OUR FEET IN THE WHITE SAND. WE DID HAVE TO BUY A FEW UTENSILS FOR THE KITCHEN, BUT I GIVE IT A THUMBS UP AND WOULD RATE THIS AS A HIGHLY RECOMMENDED PLACE TO STAY. FRIENDS FROM OHIO- OCT.2023

Beautiful condo!

The condo was Beautiful! The views were stunning, the service was excellent. I will definitely be staying here again and will recommend it to others. The private pool needs a little attention and the grill outside needs to be replaced. I would also recommend the cleaning lady pay a little closer attention to the bunk beds but overall it was excellent!

Great location, great beach!

This location was great for our kids, as they could walk to Alvin's and ice cream! The beach was just steps from the back porch, the bedrooms are spacious & the kitchen had everything we need to cook breakfast, lunch and din. We did find it hard to get out of the driveway, as traffic is very congested in this area. However, this is one of the reasons our teenage kids like it . . people everywhere! Note that 4 cars is the max for the driveway and that's pushing it. We would stay here again.

The property was so pretty inside & SO close to the water! Loved it...

Overall experience was lovely... Very nicely decorated. It did show wear but how could it not with so many people going in & out each season, and salt & sand constantly having to manage. A smoke detector battery needed changing and the maintenance people were VERY prompt in managing this issue. I highly recommend this property, very courteous people to communicate with. Very satisfying. ❤️

The property is very expensive to rent and when plumbing issue as well as electrical issues happen, it is not worth the money. In addition, the heated pool will cost an additional $50 a day and you guessed it, the pool heater did not work. In all fairness, the property management did see about the electrical issue as well as refund the heated pool fees but the premium price is not the premium experience expected.

Major issue never resolved

Overall the place is awesome! Perfect location! A little dirty and outdated- master bed is terrible! The biggest issue is the back sliding doors did not work and have an alarm. The outdoor gate is locked. Basically this means that we paid for on the beach but ended up having to walk all the way down the road to the public beach access as no exterior doors accessed the house. If we tried to open the door, the alarm went off until we held down the button. This is seriously horrible as we paid such a high premium to be on the beach. I called 4 times and issue or solution was not resolved. No discount was offered or any help rendered. The pool was also cloudy and unusable- we also called about this.

Jenna, We are very sorry that you ran into these problems during your stay. Unfortunately the sliding glass door wheels were corroded from the salt air being directly on the beach. A new door has been installed for easier access to the beach. The alarm legally has to be there to alert you if a small chold makes their way out to the pool. The outdoor gate was check and was not locked. Please do not let this deter you from using our services in the future as we strive to make each guests stay as comfortable and problem free as possible. Nice place, busy area

The accommodations were nicer than the pictures. Nice to have 2 living spaces, and to not have to go through a bedroom to get to the patio/pool area. Kitchen had everything we needed. Access to beach was amazing and chair/umbrella service was a really nice treat. Views were gorgeous, but had to go on the beach to see sunset because of privacy wall between the 2 sides of the duplex. Had frustrating experience with the pool. Paid to have it heated. Reached out the night we arrived - was cold. Ended up having to call every day to keep things moving. Finally had heat by Thursday afternoon. Got to enjoy it for about 36 hours. Was not charged for unused days, but great customer service would have waived the full charge with an apology. Other thing to note … beach was crowded. Thankfully had our chairs, but big groups set up their own chairs on either side and in front of us, both groups had competing speakers. Next time we’ll head further east to Santa Rosa to find something quieter. If you want to be in the action, you’ll love this place!

Great vacation rental

Great location and nice place. It had plenty of room. We loved the bottom floor for the kids. Our only complaint would be the main level bedroom would not cool like the rest of the house.

3 families, party of 14...FUN

Good Times was great for our party of 14 which included 6 adults and 8 kids. All the kids fit in the bunk room and loved the floor to themselves. The proximity to the beach was amazing! Luckily our families are healthy because there are stairs to everything which may present problems for some. We had a few minor things happen and maintenance was very speedy and professional. The only improvement I would offer is to install an ice maker. We will stay again. Good Times!!!

Don't waste your money!

The property has not been maintained very well; they really need to some exterminating work for fleas and roaches. Don't consider the property as having a private beach as other surrounding properties are able to rent chairs and umbrellas that are so close together you have to duck under umbrellas to get to your chair--then people are still allowed to line chairs up in front of you. The splash pool has not been maintained and lights are out in the elevator--we were told that we weren't supposed to use the elevator due to liability. The outside grill was so nasty nobody would want to eat anything that had been cooked on it. If you're an early riser the fact that there aren't any curtain liners in master bedroom won't be a problem, but we didn't like much waking up at 5:00 a.m. because there was no way to block the light coming into the room--looks like blinds had once been in the room and were removed and not replaced.

Vickie, thank you for staying with us. We apologize for the few issues you experienced during your stay. All of our properties are on quarterly pest control, however, palmetto bugs are very common in this area and do get into the house from time to time. This typically happens when heavy rains occur or doors are left open. The property was also tested for fleas and the results came back negative. We do apologize for the beach being too crowed, but July is the busiest month of the year for vacationers in our area. I would advise maybe coming at a different time if at all possible. We will also be sure to replace the pool lights and grill. I will be sure to mention hanging curtains or blinds in the master bedroom to the owner to better help the lighting situation. Thank you for bring that to our attention. We hope that these items do not deter you from staying with us again in the future as we would be happy to have you. Warm regards.

Relaxing Week on the beach

My family LOVED this vacation. There is enough room in the condo for everyone to have their own space. Everyone loved being able to walk right out to the beach. We only got into the car to go deep sea fishing and to go to the grocery. The location was perfect for teenage boys. Pizza, Ice Cream, coffee, touristy stores, and restaurants are all within a few blocks. Pompano Joe's is a family favorite and it is SO close we ate there for lunch or dinner every day. We want to go for two weeks next year! The condo was very clean and very comfortable. There were plenty of towels for everyone and we did do laundry a few times... I loved that it is upstairs by the master suite. The kitchen is nicely stocked and over all a very comfortable, relaxing, homey condo.

Great house, great location

the house was great. Our only complaint, which was pretty major for us, is the pool. The pool concrete was very dark and dirty looking. The filter was not working properly until 2pm on Friday, the day before we left, when they replaced it. The heater in the pool was also not working until that same time when they replaced the filter. We were refunded the money that we paid to heat the pool for the week. When they turned on the heater, they set it at the highest setting so it was hotter than a hot tub and we were not able to get in it that night. The only reason we chose this house was for the pool since we have a toddler. The house and everything about it was great, however the pool was very disappointing. We will definitely consider. staying at one of these properties in the future, but not this house. If they were to restore the pool, we would potentially stay at good times again. It was a beautiful home.

Nice House!

I was a little leery of booking this home because of the review I saw but either the management company corrected the issues or the issues were a bit exaggerated because we loved this place! The hous was clean and put to gether well with plenty of kitchen items (we like to cook) we did have some issues with the pool heater cutting off at night but the manager took care of that pretty quickly upon request. great location - if you stay here there is a coffee shop close you by you should try out. The name is a bit colorful but you'll know it when you see it! all in all we like this home alot and will be back!

In Need of Repairs

This property is fine for small gatherings but not for large gatherings. It sits right on the ocean and you can walk right out on the beach. Great! However, these properties contain no formal dining rooms, only a very small breakfast area. During our stay, the oven in this house was broken and never worked even through two (2) repairmen tried to fix it. There goes our Thanksgiving Dinner. We also found that even though the advertisement stated that there was a Master and a King Suite on the 3rd Floor, the King Suite did not even contain a King-sized bed at all. It was actually a full-sized bed. False Advertisement! This bedroom was located on the street side of the house and the blind was broken and couldn't even be closed. In addition, both of the paper blinds in the bathroom over the bathtub were torn. One of the handles on one of the closet doors was also broken. With the exception of the stove, I have the pictures to prove everything and I'd be happy to share them with you. These living quarters were a big disappointment but we made the best of it. The property owners definitely need to inspect this property thoroughly before renting it out again. It was a big disappointment for us. With repairs, it probably would have been ideal for a small family gathering. This was our fourth Family gathering in Destin and, by far, the accommodations were the worst. The other accommodations were much better during the other years.

Thank you for staying with us. We do apologize that you had some issues during your stay. From time to time furniture items in vacation rentals wear out and must be replaced. That appeared to be the case with the bed. We have since updated the listing with the correct bedding and have contacted the owner to make the other repairs that were needed after your stay. We hope that this experience doesn't deter you from coming back again next year. We look forward to seeing you on the beach!
