Welcome to The Farmhouse at Talmage's 12 Acre Wood, a detached guesthouse near the owner's main home. When you arrive, follow the gravel drive beside the main house — it will lead you straight to the farmhouse. It has its own private area and parking, so you’ll feel tucked away and at ease the moment you pull in. This 1-bedroom guesthouse in Eureka Springs is perfect for your escape! Guests can unwind in the superbly comfortable bedroom and relax in the soothing ambiance of the cabin. Off Street parking, Front porch, Fire Pit, Full Kitchen, Soaking tub and Walk-In Tile shower. 1.5 Miles from Eureka Springs Bike trail systems. 3.9 Miles from Leatherwood Bike Trails. 6.8 Miles from Holiday Island Marina. 2.3 Miles from Historic Down Town Eureka Springs.

If you are interested in spending time with our Nubian goats, Kune Kune pigs, or chickens, we can set that up for you!

Talmage's 12 Acre Wood is named in loving memory of our son whose spirit inspires everything we do here. This land is a place of healing, joy, and deep connection with the earth, animals, and each other. We can't wait to share it with you!

Our stay was so relaxing and needed away from the city. We enjoyed all the animals and looking out in the morning at the stillness and serenity of the woods directly out our windows. The farm house is decorated so cute. We will definitely be back when we can soon.

Had a great stay in this well decorated 1 bedroom! Host was super friendly and even had a few.refreshments waiting on our arrival! We were a little bit surprised that the vrbo was right next to their house as it wasnt in the description that we saw. Anyways, it was peaceful and quiet the whole time and the way its all situated it was hardly noticeable once at the vrbo. Thank you for a nice weekend!

Loved loved loved Talmadge’s. This is a unique little farmhouse with all the up to date amenities. Close enough to town but out of the hustle and bustle. Check in and check out was a breeze. In combination of the extra touches, visiting with Mr. Clubbs, one of the host, and the book on the coffee table about Talmadge’s gave us the feeling of belonging as a posed to renting. We would and have been recommending Talmadge’s.

We had such a great stay at Talmadge’s Farm House! The house seemed to be newly renovated, but kept the rustic charm to add to the coziness of being surrounded by nature. The shower and tub were dreamy, the bed was comfy, and the hot tub was very relaxing after a long day of exploring. While the house is behind the host’s home, we couldn’t even tell- it has its own private drive. It was fun to be greeted by a “baa” from the goats every time we walked up. Richie was very accommodating in finding a time to introduce us to the goats, pigs, and chickens. He was very kind and didn’t hesitate to answer our hundred questions about the animals. We will definitely be back soon! Thank you!

Cute little farmhouse

Absolutely Beautiful Farmhouse Getaway!We had the most incredible stay at this adorable 1-bedroom farmhouse! From the moment we arrived, it felt like stepping into my home away from home. The house is cozy, beautifully decorated with charming rustic touches, and has everything you need for a peaceful and comfortable retreat. The soaker tub was pure heaven after a long day exploring downtown Eureka.What truly sets this place apart are the sweet animals! Waking up to the gentle sounds of goats and chickens right outside the window was so grounding. The setting is serene and private, yet close enough to town if you want to venture out.Whether you’re looking to unplug and recharge, or just want a unique escape with a little farm magic, this farmhouse is perfect. We didn’t want to leave and are already planning our next visit. Highly recommend!
