Beautiful historic home over 200yrs old. The detail in the home is incredible and if you look closely you can see the differences between the original construction and the additions in the early 20th century. Outdoor area even more beautiful and relaxing. Proximity to nearby vineyards is great. Dollar General only few minutes away and has everything you could need. You can tell the water uses a water softener system but water sourced from well and has a strong sulfuric smell as I know is typical in area. Highly recommend buying bottled water and distilled water from Dollar General to brush teeth and especially for drinking, including if you have a pup. Bed was super comfortable Queen size and mini split with remote in bedroom. Another downside is bedroom is upstairs and you have to trek downstairs to use the bathroom in the middle of the night. Overall a comfortable stay, area was quiet, close to vineyards, comfortable bed, and easy communication with hosts.
