About this property

Circle Drive Venice Island Pool Home a Short Walk To Your Own Private Beach!

Our Venice Island home is less than 2 blocks off the beach and has been a short term vacation rental for the past 17 years. Unlike many, we are a legally licensed and inspected City of Venice vacation rental.
The TLC is evident from the moment you arrive. Lush landscaping greets you as you pull in the driveway and the warm feeling of home continues as you walk through the front door. The sunken living room is well furnished with that tropical feel of Tommy Bahama tables, comfy loveseat and couch and a large TV for those quiet evenings at home. The kitchen is equipped with virtually everything you'll need to whip up that gourmet dinner which you can enjoy in your dining room or poolside in your private lanai. Three bedrooms await in the split plan layout. Located on one side of the house is the master suite which is comprised of a private water closet & walk-in shower, a walk-in closet and a large vanity/sink area to prep for those evenings out or to just retire to your king size bed. On the opposite side of the house are two large bright bedrooms with a shared full bath in between. Each bedroom has a queen size bed, ceiling fans overhead and plenty of storage.

Enjoy Swimming? Spend your days at your own private heated pool or stroll a block and a half away to your own private beach - the choice is yours! Enjoy biking? Venice is full of great trails and paths that can take you all the way to Sarasota or if you like an easier, shorter pace then just amble your way around the island on the provided bikes. Enjoy walking? You can go south to Sharky's - one of the best Tiki Beach Bars in Florida - to enjoy that afternoon cocktail or walk north to Venice Avenue for lunch or that evening meal at one of the many restaurants. So many choices and so little time!

Caution: If you are not familiar with Venice, be sure you understand the difference between a Vacation Home on Venice Island and homes located off the Island of Venice that claim to be close to beaches and downtown Venice.

John was very welcoming. The location was very conveniently located. Close to the beach, fishing pier, and downtown. The beach supplies were a great treat. The pool was great for the grandkids. All appliances worked well, but would have loved a Keurig or Nespresso for a quick cup. John was bery responsive in replacing the gas grill and it came in handy several times.

Perfect location for a nice beach trip with the family. The private beach access was great, there was no one there but us for the whole trip. The pool was a big bonus and the house was clean and just as pictured in the listing.

Absolutely Awesome on Venice Island!

Love, love, love this house! Perfect location, easy walk or quick bike ride to a private access beach. House was well designed, fabulous lanai and pool. Just a great space! We biked and walked the dogs around a quiet neighborhood. So close to Sharky’s too! We will stay again.

This was a well-appointed, well-kept home with a thoughtful eye for the details that help families settle in and feel comfortable. The hosts are kind and highly responsive. There were ample beach provisions including nice chairs, wagon, toys and great bikes ready to ride! The kitchen had everything you need with plenty of linens in the kitchen and baths. The pool was wonderful with an outdoor grill and dining area. Well located near a private beach entrance. Can't wait to come back!

I booked this house for our annual girlfriend trip and we all absolutely loved this place. We came in August so the pool was a lifesaver. It was walkable to a private beach where we were often the only ones there. The beach chairs, wagon, and shark tooth sifters were used daily. Other popular beaches were only 5-15 minutes away. The beds were comfortable (not too hard nor too soft), the kitchen was well stocked, and there was a small work desk for someone like me who just can’t fully unplug from the office. They have a vacuum in the garage for cleaning your car (which was a necessity). This place is only a mile from historic downtown Venice and 4 minutes from the grocery store. Everything was close but the location was quiet and enjoyable. We loved it!

We purchased this home in 2008 and after extensive renovations we spent 9 years enjoying this wonderful house as our winter Vacation Home. Like so many others, we totally fell in love with the Island of Venice and it's tropical lifestyle. Consequently, we moved to Venice permanently six years ago and now offer this home as an all season premium Vacation Home.

Why they chose this property

Prior to buying any home, we spent several vacations driving from Tampa down to Naples trying to pick the "perfect" spot to purchase our winter getaway. Needless to say, of all the Gulf locations we researched, we kept returning to this small, quaint and activity filled town that took our hearts away.
