We had so much fun designing the perfect "home away from home", and once renovations were completed to our satisfaction, we got started decorating every corner with the highest quality furnishings and fixtures. Family Getaway

We enjoyed staying in this home for a quick family trip to St. Louis. It's in a safe, quiet neighborhood with close proximity to many things we wanted to do. We had everything we needed and the host checked in on us to make sure. We would stay again!

This is a wonderful house in a great neighborhood. We were visiting St. Louis to see family and relatives. Finding this place was just right for the 2 of us. The location is great, the home is well maintained, and (as a bonus) there's a hot tub. What we really enjoyed most were morning coffee on the back porch. We'll check availability again for our next STL visit. You can't go wrong here. Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay!! One of my favorite moments was drinking coffee by the hot tub first thing in the morning. So peaceful! Wish we could’ve stayed in later at night but we understood! I should’ve asked if you had a pack n play because I brought one too however I didn’t need it because both kids slept with me. (I noticed a pack and play and baby gate the closet. Which was very nice.) Loved the area. We walked to breakfast and ate at the best cafe for kids!

Absolutely charming house in a fantastic neighborhood. Clean and well kept. Hot tub was great. Plenty of parking. Would highly recommend The Hartford for coffee and delicious baked goods.

Nice comfortable home.

My daughter and I were in town for a couple of days for a convention and stayed here. The host made sure to check in with us via VRBO messaging to make sure everything was going well. The beds were comfortable, The home was nice. The neighborhood seemed pretty nice as well. We really enjoyed our stay.

Visiting UMSL

Was in town for a UMSL visit with the family, and the place was perfect for our family of 6. Doing laundry was very helpful and the neighborhood was nice. Kids walked to city park grill one day and really enjoyed it. We didn’t take advantage of the park nearby (a little cold outside), but it’s very close to the property. Also didn’t get into the hot tub, but will keep this property in mind when we’re back in St. Louis. Excellent host!

Winter Wonderland near Tower Grove Park

Lovely stay in the Tower Grove South neighborhood! The home and host were wonderful. We arrived just in time for the cold snap and snowy weather, so capitalized by using the hot tub to stay warm! Huge primary bedroom allowed us to spread out and get comfortable, and the deck(s) were perfect for a coffee in the morning. Access to washer/dryer in the basement to do laundry. Nice kitchen with enough equipment to make meals when you’re not up to walking a few blocks to the nearby restaurants. Speaking of which - City Park Grill, Hartford Coffee and all the bars and restaurants on Morgan Ford and Grand are just a few minute walk! Not to mention the park straight up Oak Hill Ave. Would absolutely stay here again! Thanks for hosting us!

Home for a few days

We settled into this home immediately. Munchies on arrival; a guest book full of good cheer, fun, and support; a host that was responsive and available; and a location that was perfect for us. It was close to Forest Park and downtown. The Tower park was glorious to stroll through. Features we most enjoyed about the home were the neighborhood, the spaciousness of the home the air handling system, and the dining room table. We’re so grateful we stayed here. A couple of minor maintenance issues are being attended to and did not negatively affect the joy of our time here.

Nice home in a pleasant neighborhood. Short drive to downtown. Owner quickly responded to broken appliance. One drawback was inability to use master closet. We were in town for a daughter's wedding. Owner said they had plans to update the outside living spaces. Once done, the rating for cleanliness would increase.

Beautiful Location

Overall we had a wonderful stay here while in St. Louis! The place is giant and felt very spacious for our family. The first floor of the home was incredibly safe for our toddler to run about, which was a happy surprise! Everything was well- stocked, and we didn’t need to buy anything besides groceries. (Our only slight issue was the neighboring dogs barking throughout the day. Only woke us up late one night out of six, but in case you’re sensitive to those things as we are!) The location was perfect and being able to go for walks right in the neighborhood was a nice feature. Easy walking distance to two playgrounds and a good coffee shop. Overall, this house was a great option for us this trip, and we’d recommend it!

Great house in a location convenient to much of St Louis

The properly is located within about 10min of everything we needed to do while in STL, and it also ended up being a quick hop over to Cherokee Ave which was great for coffee and thrifting. The house is nicely appointed after a recent remodel, with Nest thermostats for separate temp control upstairs and on the main level, an open plan arrangement on the main floor with plenty of space to spread out, and a fireplace as well (though we did not use it). The kitchen was also remodeled, and was outfitted with plenty of cookwear and appliances. Bedrooms are all upstairs along with the full bath, and there were ample towels/washcloths for everyone. Bed linens were high quality, and the master bed was very comfortable. The neighborhood was clean, quiet, safe, and easy to navigate in/out of, with plenty of restaurants a few minutes drive away. There was parking both on-street in front, and a space or two out back. We can recommend this house without hesitation!

I was in town for work. This was a perfect place to relax at the end of the day. Lots of space. A very clean house in a great area. And the hosts were ready to take care of anything if needed. I had no needs though. They were great. Highly recommend this property and this host.

Was in town for a Cardinals game. Property was clean, comfortable and located in quite area. Street parking only but no problems with finding a spot in front of house. Would stay here any time I'm back in town. Only draw-back to the property is there is only one full bath. No issue for us but could be with more than two guest. Everything was clean and neat!!

Weekend Get-A-Way with Family

It was a nice place very spacious. The host was kind and easy to contact (very responsive.) The one thing to be mindful of, the listing says sleeps 8 but we got charged a fee for "extra guests" with only 7 people. I would for sure stay here again.

Excellent stay in St Louis!

We so enjoyed our stay! Location was central to a lot of fun activities, neighborhood was cute and walkable, and the the house was lovely and had everything we needed. The owners were very accommodating and kind! We would stay here again on our next trip to St Louis!
