About this property

Serene Country Cabins 3 In the heart of Vermont

My place is close to Stowe, Smuggler`s Notch and within 15 minutes of 6 breweries. You can experience art and culture, 3 major ski resorts, snow machine trails, farms, hiking trails, lakes and 3 miles from the down town shopping plazas. It is nestled in the woods with some views. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families. Our bedrooms offer a create a king to accommodate guests who prefer a king bed and guests who prefer twin beds.



Our cabins in the woods have radiant floor heat, airconditioning, gas grills, picnic areas, fire pits with an armful of wood included PLUS cable tv and wifi.



We are just a phone call away and chances are we will be working around our house if something is needed.



Our neighborhood is a small quaint town. We are located on a country road with a few farms close by but only 3 miles from the local shopping centers, three breweries and the rail trail. We are located in a centralized location in Vermont. Just 15 minutes from Stowe.



You will want a car to get around. We do offer a shuttle service for an additional fee. We shuttle hikers to and from trail heads.



ATTENTION! This cabin is SMOKE FREE. We do not allow smoking.



We do allow up to two dogs in the cabins. Please keep your dog on a leash. We are not responsible for any actions due to your dog`s behavior. We provide a doggy basket that has towels and sheets to protect the furniture and food and water dishes. We ask that the dogs be kenneled when left unattended. We charge a $25 per night dog fee with a cap of $100. If you spend more than 4 nights with us, we will refund you the difference. Thank you for choosing Serene Country Cabins

The cabin was fantastic. Had all the amenities that we could think of and we actually overpacked thinking maybe things might not be there but they were. It's a quiet spot. Great for getting good sleep while also close enough to a lot of tourist attractions.

I've stayed in Cabin 3 several times now, taking advantage of its proximity to the Green River Reservoir for kayaking, the Lamoille Valley Rail Trail for biking, and various mountains for hiking. The cabin offers a quiet, clean, comfortable place from which to venture. It has everything I need. They certainly live up to their "serene" cabin moniker. I'll be back!

Great host and great location!

The Fowlers had everything at the cabin we needed! Including bowls and towels for our puppies! The location was only a couple miles from Dunkin Donuts/McDonald's/gas and a convenience store. A short distance from the town of Stowe and Stowe ski area! We especially liked the Von Trapp lodge and grounds nearby!

We were there when the flooding hit Vermont real hard. We had no problems with the cabin. We enjoyed our stay. The water was hot with good pressure. The king bed was good. Basically as advertised. Easy Peasy.

Perfect Cabin in the Woods

My boyfriend and I stayed at one of Jennifer’s cabins for a ski weekend. The cabin was the perfect size and had everything that we needed. It is a little bit of a drive from downtown Stowe and the ski resorts, but it’s definitely worth it to be tucked away in the quiet woods. Everything in the listing description is accurate other than the fact that the listing shows pictures of a new king size mattress and bed but it’s really just two twin beds pushed together. Also there is no wifi in the cabin, but we got decent enough service. I definitely recommend Jennifer’s cabins if you’re visiting Vermont and are looking for a peaceful and quiet retreat.

Amazing Getaway

My husband and I were looking for a quite romantic place and we definitely found that at Serene Country Cabins! The cabin was absolutely perfect for just the 2 of us! The property gives you the sense of being tucked away in the woods, yet you are only 5 mins away from Morristown. The location was perfect and so convenient! Jennifer and Craig are amazing hosts- they went above and beyond for us! Checkin and checkout was so easy as well! We will be planning another trip back soon- I highly recommend this property!

Last minute magical stay

I absolutely love this property. The cabin was so homey and well thought out, thoughtfully decorated with winter and Christmas decor. Everything about this cabin is perfect for a winter stay. It snowed a lot when I was there and the driveway and everything was surprisingly easy to drive on. And a magical landscape around it! I skied at Stowe multiple days when I was here and it was an easy drive. I can’t wait to come back!

This cabin is lovely. Very spacious and still cozy! It sits in the woods and is a peaceful place to enjoy a stay! My only regret is that I didn't book more nights!!!

Our stay here was very peaceful and wonderful. Property sits in a beautiful areas surrounded by a couple other cabins and some woods. The location is perfect, very close to Stowe small town and smugglers notch and Von Trapp Lodge. It is very much as the tittle suggests, serene. The place was very clean upon arrival both inside and surrounding area outside. The place is supplied with everything you need even a grill and picnic table. I will definitely be looking into staying here again on our next Vermont trip, it was a dream!

Property was very well maintained and in a perfect location for a peaceful getaway! We bicycled on the Lamoille Valley Rail Trail during the day and came back to the cabin for dinner with a campfire, s’mores and star gazing! My "go to" place

I love staying at Serenity Cabins when I'm in the area. Easy access to mountain biking, kayaking and skiing. The cabin is really a small house with everything you could possibly want provided. I'll be back!

Hi. We are Craig and Jennifer Fowler. We both grew up and raised our family right here in Lamoille County. We love to work on our 12 acre wooded land as well as hike, kayak, fish and snowshoe.

Why they chose this property

Our property is centrally located in Vermont and basically within an hour of just about everything. There are three ski resorts within 20, 30 and 40 minutes from us. We are 5 miles from Green River Reservoir, minutes from different long trail heads and there are 5 breweries within a 15 mile radius.

What makes this property unique

We are located on a country road in the woods, but only 3 miles from restaurants, breweries and local shopping centers. You will love looking out the large windows or being outside enjoying the campfire or the singing of the birds.
