Little Cabin on the Lake - with NEW hot tub and sauna!
My new lake cabin escape can soon be yours as well. Perfect for solos, couples, small crews or families. Lots of classic charms mixed with modern conveniences. Brand new hot tub to start the year and added 2nd bathroom with sauna now fully usable!
Besides lake access to N Lindstrom Lake (I have a canoe and kayak you can borrow!), it’s also easy access to Lindstrom itself, a short walk up the hill to all the quaint little shops.

The cabin was amazing! Super relaxing get away for the weekend. Cabin was clean, had everything we needed, and was within walking distance to town and food. Loved the hot tub, it was so relaxing! Beautiful little spot I hope to return to!

I wasn't taking swan sightings into consideration when pricing the listing :) Glad you had a great stay!
We had a wonderful weekend to spend at the cabin. It was a perfect location to stay, and so many places to see in the town. We enjoyed the hot tub and sauna!! 100% recommendations to check out and explore around the cute small town. The cabin was clean and felt cozy.
Hot tub was a bonus! Place was quaint and comfortable. I loved the canoe, and there’s a nice fire pit. Kitchen appliances, with gas range were fabulous if you’re cooking! Maybe a few mixing bowls or cookie sheet would have been nice (again IF you plan to cook) The sauna and extra bath were nice! Overall, everything was wonderful, and Eric was a great host! Lake wis beautiful!!

Thanks for feedback on mixing bowl! I added a big one of those and will get some cookie sheets soon. :)
We had a great stay. The whole place was clean and as advertised. The bed was comfy. The kitchen had plenty of “supplies” for cooking over the weekend. The cabin overlooks the lake, it’s a beautiful view. The hot tub was clean and hot, however it was extremely cold while we were there so we hardly used it but the sauna was nice. The owner was very easy to get ahold of and answered quickly. We plan on coming back.

Liked: Check-in, communication, location
Disliked: Cleanliness, listing accuracy
View of the lake and access to lake is to die for!!! Ongoing construction by owner in basement has caused me to rate this property as list than desirable. Glossy first impression was instantly a huge let down as I tried to access the laundry in the basement. I have shared my disappointment with the owner at the end of my stay. In the future this could be a perfect get away but as of right now much needs to be improved and the owner now knows what those improvements are needed.

Paula, I wish you reached out to me during your stay about this disappointment as I forgot laundry was still "included" in the listing during this basement work. Everyone else wasn't needing it for shorter stays. I hadn't included the basement living room in the listing you had included in photos as well. I would hope anyone interested in the place refer to the previous review only days earlier (or of the other 5 star reviews). In light of the fact that I was given no opportunity to make amends during Paula's stay (maybe she lost ability to communicate for some reason, she left physical note cards instead), I hope she considers retracting a review I find very unfair.
Cozy cabin that brings me back to childhood memories of going to the lake with Mom and Dad. The owner has put his heart into the place and it shows. Nice nostalgic feel without sacrificing modern amenities.

About the host

I grew up on a lake but live in the cities now. I missed being on the lake, so I bought this little cabin on the lake to fill that void! I teach piano, love doing cultural stuff in the cities, but just as much love what time at the lake can do.
Why they chose this property
Highest rated lake by MN DNR in many miles! Then there’s so much to explore by canoe (you can borrow mine!) and still just a short walk to the cute Lindstrom stores, including the best donuts in the state. And all this less than an hour from the cities!
What makes this property unique
Love the classic knotty pine, but I’m also added a hot tub, nice TV’s and in process of adding basement bathroom with sauna and walk-in shower. Very quiet at the end of this little city street.
