Host was very friendly and accomadating. Not much time was spent on site as the event we were attending was nearby and we spent most of out time there. The cabin was clean and well furnished. There was no closet in one of the bedrooms which could be difficult in some situations. If was a pleasant stay. But didn't get 5 stars due to the large number of lady bugs in the house, and no vacuum to sweep them up. We had a 15 month old so it was bit difficult dealing with the bugs with a baby.

This place truly a jewel with the lake and horses and accommodations I'll definitely book with them again. Next up one of their treehouses!!
We didn’t know that the property was located in a ranch with a lake so we were pleasantly surprised! The house looked newly renovated inside and was well done.

Thank you, Tracey, glad you enjoyed your stay! Come see us again!
Needed a place for our short term work crew to stay and this unit was close and provided a safe place for our crew to stay for the week. Very Nice -- we'll be back.
We celebrated our annual 'Girls' get-together and it was perfect! Plenty of room in our cottage with beautiful horses to wake up to...to include a spunky pony. The lake was relaxing as we floated on kayaks and our personal floaties. Night walks were quiet and the stars were beautiful. Family owned, which we always prefer! I'll definitely be sending friends and family and visiting again!
Our cute little cottage was just perfect for my daughter and I.
We had a wonderful time horseback riding, fishing and swimming in the beautiful lake.
The sunsets from the lake are just gorgeous.
We pretty much had the place All to ourselves which was GREAT.
The owner was super helpful and kind, very knowledgeable and accommodating.
He was also a great coach when we were horseback riding.
Great place for family and friends! unwind and RELAX.

stay
I felt the property could of been kept up better the flower bed was full of weeds.
the home was nice and clean, and everything worked.
Does have mud wasp in the trim on porch/Fire ring was nice. Loved watching the horses.
We have been staying at this property for at least 4 years. It appears the outside is deteriorating more and more as time passes. There are pieces of equipment everywhere, weeds knee high no matter where you look. It's sad. We sign a waiver when we arrive. This is so we don't sue if we hurt ourselves. I understand that. However, it is the property owner's responsibility to fill the holes in the yard, so people don't twist an ankle. The floor was filthy when we arrived. We would have vacuumed but the property didn't have a vacuum. I wiped the counters per our instructions before we left. The rag was dirty. The kind of dirt that tells you the counters haven't been touched in a few weeks. The pictures on VRBO are very deceiving. The house has not looked like that in many years.

This property is a working ranch. We were not prepared for this but that was OK with us. Cabin we stayed in was right by the horse stables so it was nice to watch them as we enjoyed morning coffee and a drink at night.
I do have to give a shout out to all the staff as they had received 8 inches of rain 4 days before we arrived. They were still working on repairing roads, but they were passable and everyone was always friendly and helpful!
It was beautifully remodeled & well supplied kitchen & all that goes with that. Front steps need a railing. For longer stays a where & dryer would be great!
Very cute updated cottage! Beautiful lake and hiking trail! Our water quit working and they fixed it extra fast! Was very nice and clean loved and enjoyed our stay
