All bookings require a $500 deposit which is released back to you should there not be any issues 3 days after checkout. All bookings require signing of rental agreement and submission of government ID. This is to protect us as hosts to be sure the person reserving is the person checking in. Check in information will not be given without signed rental agreement, gov ID and security deposit. Without this, your booking will be cancelled at your cost.

Such a Cozy Stay!

Retreat on the Bayou was an amazing little house in which to stay. We enjoyed all the incredibly thoughtful amenities that Travis and Angel provided (the pups especially enjoyed their welcome cookies!). Travis and Angel were responsive to any questions we had, and clearly have put a lot of thought and effort into making Retreat on the Bayou a place guests will want to return. I know we do! The neighborhood is walkable and kayakable - it was so great that the kayaks are there to use. What a treat to be able to kayak right off the backyard! There are several restaurants and fast food options nearby, along with shopping. The location is great, especially for an extended stay.

The host of property are Truly a blessing, they helped us super last minute on more then one occasion and I can’t thank them enough for that! The property it self is great, conveniently located to a lot, you can tell the house stays maintained and taken care of from top to bottom. There was a slight issue with water heater which was fixed and working within hours of notifying them. Truly can not recommend a better place to stay then “The Retreat on the Bayou”
