This is a great waterfront Gulf getaway house. You would not see this type getaway house very often. Your experience will be unforgettable. Gulf access on a canal with dock. Fenced yard. Full equipped Kitchen with stainless steel appliances and 60" smart HDTV with Netflix, super high speed Fiber internet access with WiFi.
Walk distance to Hudson beach and many restaurants with a variety of choices. A couple of minutes’ drive to grocery stores, shopping plazas, parks, golf courses and many others. Short drive to Sun west beach park and Weeki Wachee; Within hour to Tampa Busch gardens, Clear water beach, and about 1.5hrs to Disney.

We felt that the price was way too high for the area. The property was in poor condition, (unkept yard and patio area, kitchen counters and dishes were not clean, BBQ grill filthy and propane bottle empty.) We messaged host about the grill and got no response. We had a steak dinner planned and had to go out instead of cooking food we brought for a special occasion. We have stayed several weekends in much nicer/cleaner homes in the area for same or less expense. Property is dated and needs improvement. Host unresponsive for issues with listed amenities. Disappointed.

We aim to ensure all guests have a positive stay, and we appreciate the opportunity to address your concerns for prospective travelers: Propane & BBQ Maintenance: As clearly noted in our house rules and listing description, the BBQ grill is provided as a complimentary extra amenity. Guests are responsible for supplying their own propane tank/refill and cleaning the grill after use. Value & Pricing: Our rates are priced very competitively for the area, offering excellent overall value for a full home rental compared to single shared spaces or standard local hotel rooms. Property Condition & House Rules: Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and care is top priority. However, post-checkout inspections indicated that smoking occurred inside the home during the stay, which violated our house rules, impacted the fresh condition of the space, and significantly delayed our turnaround prep. We appreciate your input as we continuously work to refine our guest experience.

Proper old Florida home. Great communication. Close to everything we needed. We were in town for an annual paintball event which was close by. We will return next year and stay here without question. Host was very polite we had no problems at all. Don't go barefoot in the back yard there's some sand spurs 😜

Property as described in description. Host does an excellent job in communication. I had scheduled the property on the wrong dates and host was very accommodating in getting correct dates scheduled. The only issue was I could not get the tv to work. Would recommend property if staying in this area.

Amazing location!

This Vrbo was wonderful to stay in. With the river right in the back that we got to use the canoe to paddle in and the ice cream shop right on the corner, this was an awesome stay! Will definitely be back

Vacation in Hudson

"The accommodations were wonderful. It's located near Hudson beach and several wonderful restaurants. The house was very clean and the bed was very comfortable The hosts were also easy to get in touch with and responded quickly. Would definitely stay at this property again.

Not recommended for those who rely on WiFi like I do. Signal is unstable at best, and the router and modem are located in owners office next door. TV loses signal, and I’ve had zoom meetings drop 3 times in one meeting. Owner says it’s been working fine this way for 2 years. I told him about my WiFi need and he said “if you had told me that I would have told you no.” However, before we checked in I DID tell him that stable WiFi is a must for me in a message. None of the drawers have support. They pull out sideways and drop. VERY minimal kitchen supplies. Coffee maker, no coffee, etc. Tiny shower. All doors are difficult and noisy to open. The front door code sometimes just quits working, so you have to use the side door. Then it’ll work again the next day. Good thing is that the water is hot and lasts long. Decent neighborhood with a fantastic ice cream shop, amazing pizza at Gianni’s, and Sam’s beach bar on the beach is delish. Lots of traffic noise at night. It served its purpose for a month, but definitely won’t be back.

The couch could use a fresh cleaning. Bed was okay (it wasn't mine, so there's that), nothing to write home about, but comfortable enough to get some sleep. I needed a couple of days to myself and my fishing. That is exactly what I got, so I'm satisfied! And, YES, I would recommend this property.
