Eat at some of the waterfront Restaurants right down the street, visit the small beach at Hudson Beach where you can sit at the outdoor dining that Sam's Beach Bar has and watch the boats come in.

Tarpon Springs Sponge Docks, Greek town, walk down the main road where the Sponge boats go out, many shops of hand made items, soaps, sponges, clothes, etc, plenty of Greek Food and Seafood Restaurants to choose from, many people says that the Sponge docks are a must to spend a day walking down the streets and looking through the different shops. and having lunch or do a little Greek Wine Tasting.
Just North 20 minutes is the Famous Weeki Wachee Springs State Park where you can Kayak down the river (reservation) and see Manatees and spend the day in the State Park where you can see the Famous Mermaid Show that has been running since 1947.
in Weeki Wachee there is Pine Island, a nice little beach, get there early because it will fill up fast due to the popularity with the locals.

Highway 19 is full of Restaurants and all kinds of Shopping from the Mall the Indoor Flea Market.
