We stayed here for a girls trip and had the best time. It's a great place where we all got our own beds and bathrooms. Great for the dog too! We loved being able to watch the sunset from the deck. Driving to Crater Lake and being able to come back the same day was ideal for us. Would love to come back in the summertime!

A truly one-of-a-kind stay!
Our stay at the CrAframe was nothing short of incredible. The entire property is thoughtfully designed, with an open, modern interior that feels both stylish and welcoming. From the fully equipped kitchen to the game room and private movie theater, there was no shortage of ways to relax and have fun. We especially loved unwinding in the hot tub, playing cornhole, and spending evenings gathered around the fire.
What really sets this place apart, though, are the views—taking in the lake and surrounding mountains from the front porch was absolutely unforgettable. Every detail of this home creates a unique and memorable experience. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a special getaway near Klamath and Crater Lake!
Views were amazing, house was very clean and organized. Everything was fantastic. Would definitely stay again.

Better than I imagined
I brought my three girls here for their spring break and when we first walked in, we looked at each other when we walked in like, can we just live here? The kitchen was fully stocked so we enjoyed cooking, the game room was a hit with teens )no screens needed, but also the TV room was cozy and the perfect way to relax). The hot tub looks out on the lake.
It just felt like home, which is honestly the best thing I can say about any rental. Not a “nice place,” not a “cute spot” it felt like home. We were comfortable, we were happy, and none of us wanted to leave. We can’t wait to come back!

Reading that your stay felt like home (not just a “nice place”) is truly the greatest compliment we could receive. That’s exactly what we hoped to create at The CrAframe, a space where families can slow down, connect, and make lasting memories together.
We love that you and your girls enjoyed everything from cooking in the kitchen to time in the game room and cozy movie nights and of course soaking in those lake views from the hot tub ✨
It was such a joy hosting you, and we would absolutely love to welcome you all back anytime. 🌲🏔️
Thank you!!

A secluded, family-friendly retreat with luxurious amenities for a fun-filled getaway.
The view alone would be reason enough to book this stay! I was amazed at the thoughtfulness of the hosts too. The CrAframe was the best choice for our family getaway. The game room was a hit immediately with the pool table, air hockey, Foose-ball and digital gaming, it was like being in arcade with no dull moment! I can't forget to mention the hand-painted mural of Crater Lake on the wall too, what a neat addition to help set the atmosphere of the room! The owners provided a telescope for star gazing too! Of course, it was a bit overcast while we were there, but with no light-pollution in this area, a clear night would be spectacular! Waking up to the view, choosing from the broad selection of different coffee choices provided by the hosts, and sitting on the deck or soaking in huge, luxurious hot tub was an amazing way to start the day. The beds were so comfortable too, whatever bedding the hosts used - down to the Egyptian cotton sheets - I will need to get for my own house, I slept deeply in the comfort of the bedding (which I find hard to do away from my normal routine.) This house has 3 levels, with a full bathroom on each floor, the detail in the bathrooms were beautiful. You will feel the luxury in everything you do at this home. Granite countertops, tile showers, a deep tub, river-rock flooring in the walk-in shower, you name it. I forgot my toothbrush, and they even had a spare set aside for guests. Have I mentioned the theater room yet?! It was like going to the movies; the 85" TV and speakers truly gave the theater-experience. The seating in that room made me feel like I was watching the movies on a cloud. The outdoor activities were great for my family too, sitting on the deck, around the firepit, having a bean-bag toss contest, listening to the nature around us, we thoroughly enjoyed the stay. The hosts detailed some neat things to do in the area as well, of course Crater Lake was a must-see, the hosts recommended some neat hiking spots around the lake that tourists wouldn't have known about. It was nice to have a recommendation from someone who knows the area and the sweet-spots! They also pointed out the near-by train museum. That was an unexpected adventure for our family which made the trip all the more memorable! We are so thankful to have stayed at this beautiful house and explore the area around it. If there was a better rating than 5 stars, this stay would have it!

Thank you so much for this incredible review! 🌟 It means the world to us that you and your family had such a memorable and joy-filled stay at The CrA-Frame. Hearing that the game room felt like a private arcade, the mural helped set the tone, and the theater room delivered movie-magic vibes truly makes our hearts full.
We’re so happy you noticed the little touches—from the cozy bedding and broad coffee selection to the toothbrush backup (we’ve all been there! 😅). Our goal is to create a space where guests can unplug, reconnect, and feel completely cared for—and it sounds like you experienced exactly that.
Even though the skies were a bit overcast, we hope you’ll come back soon to catch a crystal-clear stargazing night through the telescope 🔭✨. We’ll be sure to have the hot tub bubbling and the coffee stocked ☕.
Thanks again for sharing such thoughtful feedback—it was an honor to host you. Come back anytime. Your CrA-Frame family will always be here, ready to welcome you back!
Warmly,
The CrA‑Frame Crew 🖤🏔️
About the host
Hosted by Trevor & KaySea
We’re Trevor and KaySea, a couple with a shared love of the outdoors, hospitality, and creating unforgettable spaces where others can experience the beauty of the Pacific Northwest.
Our journey into hosting and building dream retreats started much like yours might: with a love for travel and a deep appreciation for the connection that happens when you find the right place to stay. We both grew up in Oregon, surrounded by mountains, lakes, and forests, and have always felt at home in the outdoors. That sense of adventure and our roots in this beautiful corner of the world inspired us to design something we could share.
Trevor has spent years in the trades, building, crafting, and managing complex projects with care and precision, skills that shine through in the details of every property we create. He’s hands-on, passionate about quality, and loves bringing ideas to life from the ground up.
KaySea brings creativity, vision, and a knack for making people feel at home. With a background in business leadership and hospitality, she ensures every space feels thoughtful, welcoming, and beautiful, down to the smallest detail. She’s the heart behind our guest experience, making sure every stay feels personal and memorable.
Together, we’re a team that balances each other’s strengths and shares one goal: to help people slow down, connect with the people they care about, and enjoy moments that stay with you long after you leave.
When we’re not working on the next project, we’re usually outdoors with Buddy, exploring trails, camping, soaking up the sunrises and sunsets or gathering with friends and family. We believe in living adventurously, and intentionally. We hope you feel a little of that when you stay at one of our properties.
Thank you for letting us share what we love with you. We’re excited to host you and help you experience all the magic this area has to offer.
Why they chose this property
When we set out to build this A-frame, our vision was clear: to create more than just a place to stay, a retreat where families and friends could truly connect, surrounded by the beauty of Oregon’s outdoors.
We chose this property for its one-of-a-kind setting, perched high above the valley with breathtaking 360° views of the Pacific Northwest’s most iconic landscapes. From sunrise to sunset, the vistas are spectacular. Upper Klamath and Agency Lakes glimmer below, while peaks like Mount McLoughlin, Pelican Butte, Mount Mazama (Crater Lake’s volcano), and countless others rise all around. We fell in love with this vantage point, where the skies feel bigger, the air fresher, and the quiet of nature surrounds you.
We designed the A-frame to celebrate this setting. With wall-to-wall windows, an open-concept layout, and a 1,000 sq ft deck, the home invites you to soak in the views from every corner, whether enjoying coffee at sunrise, stargazing through the telescope, or relaxing in the 7-person hot tub under the stars.
Inside, the home is thoughtfully appointed to feel spacious yet inviting, modern yet warm. A place to gather at the dining table, play pool in the game room, watch a movie in the theatre, or retreat to the loft for a quiet moment. Every detail like Egyptian cotton sheets to countless amenities and the glass loft railing, was chosen to make your stay memorable.
What makes this property truly special is its balance of adventure and relaxation. It’s a basecamp for world-class fly fishing, kayaking, hiking, skiing, and waterfalls, yet also a quiet escape to watch wildlife, hear the wind through the trees, and reconnect with what matters.
This place reflects everything we love about Oregon, its beauty, its adventure, and its ability to bring people together. We’re proud to share it with you and hope you make as many unforgettable memories here as we have building it.
