UPDATE as of Sept 2023: We have upgraded our internet! We are now with Starlink and our internet speeds have increased substantially. We receive several questions about our internet and whether it's fast enough to be able to work remotely. With how remote the property is it has always been difficult to provide reliable internet. We believe that we have now achieved that with the new internet and hope you enjoy it as well!
Con't: With the new internet we have now upgraded to smart TVs with several applications. Feel free to log in or download any app (be sure to log out when you leave!). We have ditched the DISH network and now provide a basic plan on Sling for your viewing pleasure. While we know our home is about enjoying nature and disconnecting from it all, we hope the upgraded internet and TV service provides a little more comfort.
Con't: At one point we had cattle roaming the property during the summer months and it was a point of stress especially with dogs. We no longer allow the cattle to roam the property.
Con't: We have added a number of arcade games in the basement (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, The Simpsons, Pac-Man, NBA Jam and Marvel Pinball). We're in the process of updating the basement even more to make it as enjoyable as possible. Along with the arcade games we have ping pong, a foosball table, dual basketball arcade game, darts and a large TV.

This beautiful 6 bedroom, 3.5 bath home is located on 40 acres surrounded by Pine and Aspen trees with a creek running through the meadow. The property is in a remote location as it backs to the National Forest with no neighbors in sight (see notes below). There are plenty of rooms/beds to sleep and if additional room is needed there are pull out beds on the basement couch along with air mattresses. We truly believe this property is one of a kind and we are happy to share it with your family. The property itself has a rich history from when our family first settled on the land many years ago.
Activities include a playset for the kids, a tire swing for all, horseshoe pit, whiffle ball, cornhole, ping pong, darts, and pinball machine. We have a big wrap around porch that is perfect for early morning coffee or late afternoon rain showers. A big ramada sits just in front of a firepit with plenty of room for everyone to enjoy. To the west is forest service land. On the other side of the property to the south is also forest service land. We truly have a one of a kind property that makes you feel like you are camping with the perks and comfort of city living.
Fishing and hiking are nearby including Luna Lake, Hulsey Lake, Big Lake, and the Black River. For your convenience we have provided some base fishing poles and a tackle box to use.
A small part of the acreage is owned by our lovely Aunt/Uncle. They have 3 small bunk houses southeast of our home about 30 yards down the hill. Those are your only neighbors and they are only there during certain times in the summer. They will not impede on your space and are happy to discuss the history of the property and help answer any questions/concerns during the times they are there. Their homes face the opposite direction of ours so you wouldn't even notice them when they are there but they are there to help if needed (again they are only there every so often during the summer months and occasionally in October for a weekend). They have been very supportive of us renting our home and when they are present, they are there to help if needed. Noise has never been an issue and they would be your only occasional neighbor.

Note about the winter months (Nov - Mar): We love the snow just as much as anyone however the winter months can be difficult to manage. You must have a 4X4 or AWD to access the home. As mentioned above the property is located in a remote area and even when the road gets plowed it's important to have a 4X4 vehicle. There are a lot of times during the winter that it would not be a problem at all but as a disclaimer in the even there is snow fall during your stay we must recommend a 4X4 vehicle. During these winter months we also charge an additional $200 fee. This fee allows us to continue to rent during the winter months. The additional cost of heating, winterizing and plowing the road can add up so in order for us to rent during the colder months we must charge the additional fee.
We are happy to share our home with your family. If you have any questions prior to booking please do not hesitate to send a message.

The beautiful 40 acre house was just that! Large enough for our family. Host was very responsive and house had all the necessities and cooking supplies needed. Beds were comfy. Enjoyed the basement/game room and the the outdoor space was also enough for our dog to run and enjoy the snow. Thank you your house was beautiful.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Location is great, very private and the cabin is large and can comfortably fit a lot of people. We would definitely stay here again. The host is very accommodating as well.
This was our second stay on this beautiful property. The cabin is roomy and inviting. The acreage and view are magnificent. We saw abundant wildlife from the patio, including elk, deer, a big brown bear! We made memories that will last a lifetime. Thanks, Ryan, we hope to be back!
We had an amazing stay at the Noble Cabin. The area is breathtaking and the property was beautiful and spacious, meeting all of our needs for a variety of ages. We can't say enough about our experience. It was awesome and one that is high on our list for a return visit. Thanks so much Noble Family!
We had an amazing stay at the cabin in Alpine. We saw deer and elk from the back deck. The kids loved the tire swing. Ryan was very easy to communicate with. The kids also loved the games. The location was close to several lakes.
My family stayed here almost 4 years ago and enjoyed it so much that we made another trip with some friends as well. Both trips we had a wide age range of people and everyone was happy and entertained the whole time! There are lots of beds, fully stocked essentials and everything you need in the kitchen. Plenty of toys and games to play with.
Our family had a great stay in Alpine. Wonderful house with plenty of room, essentials, and activities for the whole family. Ryan was gracious and helpful throughout our stay. We are looking forward to coming back.
We had a great time at the cabin, it had everything that we needed. It felt like a home away from home, Ryan was able to respond right away when we needed help checking in.
It is a beautiful piece of property, secluded in the mountains. Tons of wildlife, we heard elk bugle and even saw a few.
Home is older but way cozy and plenty of room. Definitely would stay again.

About the host
Your host
My name is Ryan and I am a 5th generation owner to this property along with my siblings. I currently reside in Gilbert and frequently visit Alpine as my "getaway from it all" vacation. I grew up in AZ and know it very well. Alpine was my home away from home. I'm an ASU alum and will forever be an AZ boy :)
Why they chose this property
This property is near and dear to my heart. My siblings and I take great pride in this property and look forward to sharing the beauty with you. It has been in our family for 5 generations. It started off as a small cottage when my father had a dream in 2011 to build a home that would accommodate his entire family. Shortly after his passing in 2016 the home was passed down to myself and my siblings and we couldn't be more excited to share the beauty of the White Mountains
