We are two friends and colleagues—both lawyers—who shared a dream: to have a beautiful beach home where we could escape the city, enjoy nature, and spend time with the people we love. We searched for a place that balanced convenience and tranquility, and we found it here in Esterillos Este.
Nestled perfectly between San José and Manuel Antonio, Esterillos Este offers everything we were looking for: a peaceful beach town with stunning jungle scenery, friendly locals, and an unhurried pace of life. Here, we can start our mornings with coffee on the terrace as scarlet macaws fly overhead, spend the afternoon on a quiet beach just minutes away, and still be close to restaurants, small markets, and essential conveniences.
For us, Esterillos is the best of all worlds—close enough to the city for easy weekend escapes, but far enough to feel truly away from it all. It’s family-friendly, safe, and serene, yet full of opportunities for adventure.
