I wish we had more time to spend there. It was a beautiful property. Comfortable and clean. Would definitely recommend and go again.

Thank you for the review, the write up is very positive and I appreciate that but you only gave 4 out of 5 stars for the rating. As this is a relatively new listing for me and I am trying to build up excellent reviews, what could I do better to earn 5 out of 5 stars?
The house is clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated to fit in with its surroundings. The host responded my questions in a timely manner. I just wish we had more time to enjoy using his canoe or kayaks on the lake.
Everything we needed was there! It’s such a beautiful home with a beautiful view to the lake, especially at night when the stairs to the dock are all lit up. Would recommend this property to anyone! I’m highly satisfied.
From the very beginning we were able to communicate easily with our host. We were allowed to check in several hours early because we came in on a red eye flight. The only problem with our stay is it was not long enough! We did not have enough time to enjoy lake life because we were only in town for a weekend wedding. The house was so cute. Very comfortable and clean. Plenty of space. Such a cool location. We would love to stay again when we visit our North Carolina family.
We absolutely loved our stay at High Rock Hideout. Only 5 of us slept in the house, and we had 10 people total for Thanksgiving dinner. The dining table fit everyone comfortably, which was perfect since our nearby relatives don’t have space for our group. The location worked well for our family of 3 from Atlanta and my in-laws from Myrtle Beach, and it was an easy drive to other relatives in the Greensboro/High Point area. The setting is beautiful. It was too cold to enjoy the lake this time, but we’re already planning a return summer trip. The owners really thought of everything. There were charging ports everywhere, plenty of spices and condiments, nice dishes for a crowd, emergency lights, and a first aid kit. We loved having the extra fridge in the basement since we brought most of our Thanksgiving meal prepared and needed the space. The mud room with a desk was a quiet spot for work, though it gets a little chilly in winter. We had plenty of room with five people, and seven would still be comfortable. There’s also a full bathroom downstairs. The pullout couch in the living room worked great when we were all playing games. The small Christmas tree was perfect for our “Thanksmas” gift exchange and made the night feel special. We think we’ve found our new Thanksgiving spot and a great weekend getaway. My family can't wait to come back enjoy the kayaks and fishing. The only thing that could make it better is a hot tub on the screened porch!

Thanks for the great review, we will be addressing the heat in the mud room and I love the idea of a hot tub.
