A Refined Mountain Retreat — Five Miles from Mount Rainier, with Private Hot Tub & Sauna

OVERVIEW

Tucked in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains, this thoughtfully designed cabin sits just five miles from the Nisqually Entrance to Mount Rainier National Park — one of the most breathtaking destinations in the Pacific Northwest. Whether you're planning a milestone family gathering, a long-awaited trip to the mountain, or simply a few unhurried days surrounded by old-growth forest, this cabin offers the comfort and space to do it right.

The open floor plan feels warm and welcoming from the moment you arrive — a place where the whole family naturally comes together, whether that's around the kitchen island, the dining table, or the fire after a day outdoors.

SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS

The cabin accommodates six guests across three well-appointed sleeping areas, each fitted with blackout blinds to ensure a restful night — a small detail that makes a real difference in the bright Pacific Northwest summers.

King suite (upstairs) — The primary bedroom features a king bed and its own private attached bathroom, offering a quiet, comfortable retreat at the end of the day.

Queen bedroom (main level) — A serene queen bedroom on the ground floor with convenient access to the second full bathroom.

Twin loft (upstairs) — Two twin beds in a cozy loft space open to the living area below — a perennial favorite with grandchildren and younger guests. A pack-and-play is available for families traveling with infants.

THE KITCHEN

For those who enjoy cooking — or simply prefer a proper breakfast before a day of exploring — the kitchen is genuinely well equipped. Modern stainless steel appliances include a countertop oven with air fryer, slow cooker, blender, toaster, and sandwich maker. Coffee lovers will feel right at home with four options: a drip machine, Keurig, French press, and electric kettle.

The cabinets are stocked with bakeware, a full set of pots and pans, a vegetable chopper, strainers, and all the everyday essentials — including plates, bowls, and cups sized for children. There's no need to bring anything from home or stop at the store just to make a meal.

THE OUTDOOR SPACES

Some of the best hours at this cabin are spent outside. The fenced backyard is private and peaceful, and it's arranged for genuine relaxation rather than just decoration.

The private hot tub is ideal for a long, quiet soak at the end of the evening. The outdoor sauna — a more recent addition — offers a deeper kind of rest that guests have come to love after days on the trail or in the park. When the mood calls for it, the propane grill and firepit make outdoor dining and evening gatherings easy and enjoyable. Comfortable outdoor seating is arranged throughout the yard.

For those arriving by electric vehicle, a Level 2 charger is available in the driveway. Simply plug in when you arrive and you'll leave with a full charge. (Tesla adapter not included — please bring your own.)

ENTERTAINMENT & CONNECTIVITY

High-speed fiber Wi-Fi is available throughout the cabin, along with a dedicated workspace for anyone who needs to stay connected during their stay. For relaxed evenings in, there are three televisions, a movie projector perfect for a proper family film night, and a selection of board games. From Memorial Day through Labor Day, outdoor lawn games are available in the yard as well.
