Weekend Getaway

We decided to spend a weekend in Hot Springs, and this was the perfect location. The cabin was beautiful and very clean. The dock was also lovely and a very short walk from the cabin. If we make another trip to Hot Springs we will definitely consider staying here again.

By the picture you would expect it to be lakeside but the rental was up the hill past the owners residence and up a fairly steep flight of stairs. Not a good place to rent if you're a senior. Nevertheless,once we settled in we were comfortable. Sheets and towels were provided and there were even extra unopened toothbrushes in case you forgot to bring one.

Beautiful Place, too much construction noise nearby

The cabin was precious and looked as it appeared in these pictures, HOWEVER, the owner was having Construction/Renovation done to her own property adjacent to our Cabin the same week were staying, so we were woken up early by loud voices, truck rolling in with material, hammering and saws each morning during our particular stay. Also the Construction workers kept gawking at our 24 year old daughter and her friend, as we had to pass her home through her Gate to get to deck to the lovely Lake Hamilton. If it weren't for all the Construction, we would have rated our stay 5 stars, unfortunately, our stay wasn't the BEST. Also the owner needs a new Clothes dryer, as it squealed every time we would throw clean towels in. Sincerely, ~L. Johnson

PERFECTION!

EVERYTHING about our stay was perfect! The property and rental was beautiful. Susie was a wonderful host and provided everything we could think of, right down to a bag of ice in the freezer for use, beach towels for the lake, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toothbrushes, coffee and supplies, super comfortable linens and pillows. Slept like a baby all 3 nights! And the swim dock...OMG! My girls and I spent most of our time there and LOVED every minute of it. It was a super easy/shady walk down to the dock. Susie even let us stay til 3 on the day we checked out so we could get in more lake time. Loved picking pears from the pear trees on the property, cool nights and morning coffee on the upstairs deck. Such a beautiful place! We will DEFINITELY be back when and if she decides to rent again. It was just what we needed to soothe the soul.

Wonderful location

The private little apartment is clean, meticulously appointed, and nestled in a great little community. The quiet cove is just a short walk from the apartment, but it’s an easy walk and great cove for floating off the main channel. Highly recommend.

Wonderful lakehouse apartment

We really enjoyed our stay in the lake house apartment, it was so beautiful and sparkling clean, very well stocked with everything we needed. Our hostess was very kind, thoughtful, and attentive. Loved having washer and dryer since we swam a lot and have active little girls. It was also very conveniently located to hot springs and all of the activities we wanted to do. Thank you for a wonderful get away! Would definitely stay again.

This is a good looking place! But theres hardly and parking for bigger trucks like mine.. and the cabin was smaller than i anticipated but overall a decent place for a couple in a small car to hang out over the weekend! I wouldnt stay there again due to the size myself tho

Very Disappointed

My family rented this "cabin" for 4 days in June 2018. After driving 9 hours we were greeted by a bulldozer blocking our way, a metal girder leaning against the garage and the homeowners home, which blocks the view of the lake, and some sort of construction going on outside their home. The picnic area under the rental deck was dirty and very unappealing. The rental is not a cabin but a garage apartment and smelled of chemical pesticide. ( mothballs} We did not stay and were not refunded anything. We had to find somewhere else to stay. Manager's Response: Ann, we're sorry your experience visiting the cabin upon arrival wasn't what you expected. As we are receiving this review 7 months after your stay, we and the homeowner are surprised to see this feedback. We understand they sent their cleaning crew to address the smell you mentioned and they did not encounter such a smell. This cabin is routinely kept in immaculate condition, as evidenced by numerous positive reviews. This cabin did have construction going on behind the cabin. If there was something blocking the way, bulldozer, trash trucks, or any other equipment, it was not specific to this home. They did not have a bulldozer on the property. However, like any neighborhood, there are times when there is equipment in your neighborhood, which residents have no control over. The picnic area in the yard of the cabin may have been dirty because it is outside, but they do their best to keep it as clean as possible. If you had given this cabin a chance, we are confident you would have found it pleasant as it has hosted many satisfied guests! Best, the Evolve Team

There was construction going on in the house behind us. We brought our kayak but the gate to access the dock was blocked by a trailer full of debris. A lot of noise early in the morning. If not for all that it would be a wonderful place. Just not a quiet relaxing getaway like we had hoped for

Pretty, comfortable apartment with good access to water

My two girlfriends and I enjoyed our stay in this little apartment set back off Lake Hamilton. It was very comfortable and well stocked with anything you might need. We enjoyed sitting on the deck over the water in the evening with our wine and watching the boats. Susie was a wonderful hostess and even left us a box of fresh pears on the porch. We would have loved to stay longer.

Perfect Getaway!

We came to Hot Springs to celebrate our anniversary & this place was the best. Beautiful property, perfect spot on the lake! Our favorite part was the private dock...we swam & fished & even had a perfect view of the fireworks for the 4th of July! We had the opportunity to meet the owner, Susie & she was so much fun. Will definitely be making a return visit!

Beautiful Cabin but NOT quiet! Week of July 16-20

This Lakeside Cabin's interior appearance was exactly like the photo's presented, very pretty, but as far as peace and quite? Then NO, it did not fit this description whatsoever! In fact, the owner, had several construction workers at her home, that was located right in front of our cabin, as she is having her home renovated. Our morning's were spent being woken up to hollering, saws and loud hammering. Our 25 year old daughter felt uncomfortable with the workers eyeballing her and her friend as they had to walk past the owner's home to even get to our private deck for Lake Hamilton, which made it very awkward. So no, we didn't have as much fun at this property as we thought we would have, unfortunately. Manager's Response: Hello, thank you for your review. We're glad you enjoyed the cabin itself overall, but are sorry to hear about the issues you encountered that prevented you from fully enjoying your stay. We have not heard previous complaints about this property, and we do take your feedback seriously in an effort to provide the optimal guest experience. This home was not and is not under construction, however, the homeowners home, a separate property, did have workers present inside the home. We, nor the homeowner, were aware of their negative impact on your stay until you had checked out. We encourage guests to reach out with any concerns while in residence so we have the opportunity to address them and make things right. The homeowner was unaware as the correspondence between you and she indicate only positive feedback and no problems. We are confident this cabin will continue to host many satisfied guests! Wonderful

This cabin on the lake is very nice. We enjoyed it very much. It's very quiet and cozy. The cabin is clean and comfortable. It's a great size and perfect for a couple to enjoy. We loved the kitchen and it was nice to use it a couple times because restaurants get old fast. The owners are nice people. They called and want you to feel welcome. It was nice being on the lake. I watched several fisherman catch nice size bass on the shoreline. I would highly recommend this cabin.
