We stayed here for the week to celebrate our Brothers Birthday. It was a great time and we all enjoyed the house! It is so beautiful and very comfortable beds.
Everything about this small cottage was great! When we arrived the house was extremely clean and smelled so warm and cozy. All rooms and bedding were very clean and comfortable. The location in general was very nice and felt like a little private getaway. Host is great with communication! Perfect home for a family to stay.
What a wonderful spot for a getaway! The home appears to be recently remodeled and includes everything you can possibly need for your stay. The surroundings are beautiful and peaceful.
This house is perfect. All of my family loved staying here. The beds and pillows were very soft and comfortable. They provided everything we needed to have an enjoyable stay. The neighborhood was quiet and we took a lovely walk. The golf course nearby looks inviting. We were visiting family in the area and didn’t want to leave the cottage each day. This is now our favorite place to stay in the area. Highly recommend.
Beautiful cottage in the heart of Hobble Creek. Felt like a Hallmark movie with the fall leaves surrounding the cute cottage. Very clean and well stocked. Great place!
Everything about this property was pretty great. Very peaceful, private, and comfy for my me, my husband & dog for 2 nights. One of a few recommendations would be to turn on the gas fireplace once it is officially Fall (September 22nd)…especially since this property is tucked in a canyon, where it doesn’t get direct sun until around noon, and only for a few hours. The ambiance of a fireplace in the early morning, or late evening hours is what this type of ‘magical’ rental should be known for. There was a wasp nest at the rear eave of the home that made me a bit nervous sitting on the back patio; The back patio also appears much larger in the listing photos than it actually is. There is some wear and tear (listing does state rustic) on the deck boards outside that should be monitored. The indoor dining table wood bench seat is sagging & creaking. Seat cushions would also have been nice. The TV is mounted so high on the wall it's pretty difficult to view comfortably on the couch. Additionally, a lamp in the living room would have been nice since the overhead recessed lighting, dining and kitchen lighting were uber bright. There aren't any ‘views’ from this property. Golf course is not in front…it’s a walk down a steep hill (but a beautiful neighborhood to walk through) and a steep hill is immediately behind the house. The cost was a bit steep…and upselling is so silly (i.e. early check-in); if listing isn’t occupied, it should just be made available without a fee, IMO.

Thank you for staying with us and for the detailed feedback!
We're so glad you, your husband, and your pup found the home peaceful, private, and comfy.
As the listing notes, the fireplace is seasonal, and as we discussed with you during your stay, we turn the fireplaces on in mid-October since September is usually still quite warm in Utah..
The home is rustic and tucked into the canyon, and that quiet, wooded setting is a big part of its charm.
As for early check-in, we don't control the cleaning schedule. It's up to our cleaning company to rearrange their day and prioritize an earlier cleaning, often before other guests arrive, and the small fee covers the extra work of shifting things around for them.
Every policy we have is there for a reason, and it all helps keep the home ready and well cared for, for every guest.
We hope you'll keep the good memories in mind, and we'd love to welcome you back sometime!
We had a wonderful stay at the cottage. Good location. Host was very helpful. The only reason I didn’t give all 5 stars was there is absolutely no cell service at the cottage. Not good incase of an emergency.
