The Space:

** There is NO kitchen. There is a kitchenette with a toaster, microwave, coffee maker and mini fridge. We do NOT provide dishes or silverware.



Guest Access:

To complete your booking and access your check-in information, you will receive a link to our Guest Portal. You’ll need to complete the required verification before your check-in instructions and guest access information become available.



The guest verification process requires:

Signing the rental agreement

ID and selfie verification



For the safety and security of our guests, our properties are equipped with Ring security cameras. Please do not mess with them.



The Neighborhood:

Lake City is a charming small town nestled on the shores of Lake Missaukee. This laid back Northern Michigan destination is beloved for its sparkling lake views, outdoor recreation and friendly hometown vibe.



Getting Around:

The most convenient way to get around Lake City is by car. M-55 runs east-west, connecting to Cadillac and other towns. M-66 runs north-south and intersects with M-55 just outside town. Uber, Lyft and local taxi services are available. Lake City is a small walkable town with downtown amenities, restaurants and the lakeshore typically a short walk. Seasonal bike rentals are also available.



Other Things to Note:

• You will receive your Guest Portal with guest access details after completing verification, which includes:

-Signing the rental agreement

-ID and selfie uploads

• A non-refundable damage waiver is included in your total cost, covering more than minor wear and tear. Stays over 30 nights require a refundable security deposit if no damages occur.

• Extensions: Contact us for special offers.

• Starter Kit: Includes coffee, dishwasher pods, trash bags, paper towels, and toilet paper. Guests are responsible for additional supplies.

• **Local Guests: Prior authorization is required before booking**.

• Cancellations: Check your booking platform’s policy. Even for full refunds, a 4% credit card fee applies.

• Pets:

-$20/night, $100/week, $250/month (potty-trained dogs only).

-Preferably under 50 lbs—contact us for exceptions.

-Clean up after your pet & leash in common areas.

***Maintenance and inspections may be required during your stay. Please note that we cannot guarantee a specific timeframe or reschedule these visits. Any necessary work will be completed as quickly as possible to ensure the property remains in proper condition.
