NO COOKIE CUTTER RENTAL HERE!!! Our property features a most ideal location, atmosphere and combination of amenities you will struggle to find at any other beach property. In addition to that, the unique funky little residential island community of Sunset Beach, with its close proximity and easy access to large touristy type beaches cannot be duplicated.

The Montauk cottage is among one of several houses nestled into a cozy nautical themed boutique resort located on Sunset Beach. It is close to restaurants and dining, the beach, family-friendly activities, and nightlife. You’ll love this place because of the coziness, it's Florida feel, it's proximity to the best beach on the West Coast of Florida, proximity to dining with your toes in the sand (short walking distance), ample parking, its residential neighborhood feel, and its open floor plan

Inside, our newly remodeled unit features a gorgeous professionally decorated, open-concept living and dining area, with an adjoining kitchen. The master bedroom features a king bed with plenty of space for a pack-n-play or an air mattress (not provided). The second bedroom has a queen bed and patio & pool access through the sliding glass door (don’t worry, black-out curtains are also included!). The living room also features a full/queen sleeper sofa. Linens, pillows, blankets, towels, and an extra set of each item are included and can be found in the bedroom closets. The kitchen is equipped with a full-sized oven/stovetop, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, dishwasher, and all the cooking essentials you can imagine. You’ll also enjoy large smart TVs (bring your own Netflix password!) in the living room and in each bedroom, and free private WiFi internet access throughout the property. The super cute bathroom highlights space-saving design elements, and the indoor laundry closet meets all your washing and drying needs!

Outside, you can enjoy the large, and beautifully lit pool and spa! Relax in the pool until you’re hungry, grill up your favorite flavors on the provided grills, and then dig in poolside. Each cottage is provided its own outdoor seating/dining area, but there is also a shared cabana area in which to put your feet up.
A shared garage is available for storage of (provided) beach & pool accessories (or your own bicycles, if you travel with them) and you have designated private parking. If you’ve been at the beach, there is also an outdoor shower just outside the kitchen entry, to rinse sandy feet and buckets.

***Our property consists of several houses on one property all surrounding the pool , spa , cabana, outdoor cooking and common area. We can accommodate groups of up to 25 people for events such as beach weddings, family reunions, as well as other types of events or gatherings with multiple smaller parties wanting to be at the same property.

Perfect location for an easy going beach trip. Large courtyard with pool, BBQ grills and plenty of space to relax after a day at the beach. Lots of gear to use on the beach is in the garage.

Great Location

This is the 2nd time we have stayed at this property. Both times have been great. The owners pay great attention to detail when it comes to upkeep. And are great at communicating. The location is perfect and laid back. We are looking forward to another trip!!!

Happy Cottage

We loved our stay at The Point, location was fantastic. We were able to enjoy beaches from Clearwater to St. Pete and all in between with a short drive. Morning coffee by the pool was awesome and coming home to the “Happy Cottage” after a day at the beach was incredible.

Perfect location and accommodations.

The Point was located perfectly with beach access right across the street and a 5-10 minute beach drive to anything you need (coffee, Publix, restaurants, etc.) We loved and so enjoyed the cozy private pool right out our bedroom door as well as having access to tons beach supplies. The house was a perfect size for three of us.

This beach cottage had a great location, was neatly decorated (outside and in) and was spotlessly clean. It was the perfect size for our family with two teenagers: spacious bedrooms and the open plan kitchen, dining area and couches were perfectly laid out. The cottage was also very well appointed, with seemingly brand new stove, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer. The kids loved the fast wifi too! The location is amazing, just 1 minute from the most beautiful beach and even though we never used the pool, it was right there and we had lunch by it several times. The communication with the hosts was easy and quick and they went out of their way to make us feel welcome (set up a Christmas tree, gifted us chocolates, were flexible with check-in/out times). We can't recommend this cottage highly enough - we'll be back!

Everything you could want and more!

We LOVED our stay here and we were blown away by all the amenities! We came with our 1.5 year old and they provided a pack-n-play for us, had all the kids beach toys you could think of, and it was SO close to a fun park! Being steps from the beach was perfect for us as well as the using the awesome pool on the property! The beds were comfy and the cottage was very spacious! Would highly recommend staying here and we will be back!!

Exactly as described and very clean. Not having to bring extra stuff for the beach was awesome. Convenient 2 min walk to the beach was even better, not crowded and plenty of shells for the kids. Quiet neighborhood but still easy to access shopping. Definitely will be back

Fabulous Property!!

This property was amazing, and everything we were looking for. We were looking for a location close to the beach, pool access, and a kitchen. Everything we needed for our stay was available, and it made our stay wonderful. Beach access was a few houses down and across the road, which was so convenient for shelling, sunset, and swimming. The pool was nice and warm, and while shared with other units we didn’t have any issues. The beds were comfortable, the unit was clean, and we will definitely stay here again.

Amazing!

I could not have asked for anything more! The kids had a blast. This rental had beach toys, beach chairs, wagons, towels, pretty much everything. It was two minutes to walk to the beach and the pool was beautiful. I would recommend 10/10!

Another great trip to The Point!

Our family stayed at this house in 2019 and we decided to come back because it was so wonderful. The pool is so much fun for the kids (even teens) and is steps from the doorway. There is a garage filled with pool floats, beach chairs and everything we needed. The house is also across the street from beautiful Sunset Beach. The house is so cute and comfortable. We appreciated the memory foam mattresses and nice sheets, too! The washer and dryer was also a huge plus! We hope to stay again soon!

Treasure island home was a treasure

Amazing location. Accurately described and has all the amenities that you would need. We so very much appreciated the pack n play for our 1 year old to sleep in and the sweet hand written note on arrival. The pool for our family was perfect and was well equipped as well as equipped for those that would want to head to the beach. Those sunsets will forever be imprinted in my memory box .. thank you!

Family Time

Really Cute cottage with a great location . I loved how nice it was to have the pool at your doorstep. So when the kids needed a break they could just go inside and we could still be inside ! Also the host was amazing ! This is the cottage I originally wanted but it was booked so I booked the smaller one next to it.. as soon as this one was available she contacted , refunded my money and let me rebook this one! So that was so thoughtful !

Wedding party friends were trashy and rude

Parking was awful because your friend’s wedding party took all the parking including the front and then were rude and used fowl language around my children. Very disappointing.

A great get away location!

This was a perfect choice! With the beach across the street, and the pool and tub in yard it was ideal. Location was great with outstanding restaurants like Carinos down the street. The property itself had a washer and dryer which was convenient. We rent villas often with another family, and I have to say this was stocked with dish detergent, soap powder etc. It was our first time to Treasure Island and we were thrilled with choice of place.

What makes this property unique

The Point has the most charming nautical theme and decor through out, ample parking, where parking is very tough, super clean and freshly renovated houses, steps to beach, steps to fishing pier, heated pool, hot tub, beach essentials supplied, walking distance to everything, inside laundry, assigned out door dining recreational spaces, fully equipped outdoor cooking area, just about everything you need for an easy super enjoyable beach experience from relaxing or playing on the beach to dining out and night life.
