Cosy apartm.,fully licensed on gr. floor in our house with private entrance. Free parking. Selv check in/out. Our house is located close to Laugardalur valley, close to down town.The apartm. is 70 m2, w. 2 bedr, liv. room w.2 bed , kitch., w.c. with shower and sauna. The apartm. is good for 4 pers. possible for 6 but after 4 will be narrow. Within a 10 min walk: - Holtagarðar, with superm. Bónus.- In Laugardalur is a fantastic swimming pool open from 7 to 22.
The bathrooms is with shower and a sauna. The bedrooms have double beds, size: 2,0x1,50m (Queen size) in each room. In the living room is one extra bed 2,0x0,90, and possibility of another. There is a washing machine/dryer. Possible to early check in, just ask.

My guests have the apartment on the first floor separately. Internet access, garden and a washer /dryer is for your use. Towels and linen included.

Guests can always contact during their stay. I can offer my guests a guided private tours in my luxury-jeep. I can offer popular tours such as the Northern Lights and/or the Golden Circle, for a reasonable price. You can also ask for a hidden pearls in your tour.

Our apartment is in quite place. Relaxed atmosphere, family friendly. Laugardalur is nearby. In Laugardalur is the big swimming pool and the main camping place in Reykjavík. There is also good local restaurant,Laugaas. Bus no 14 go to the city. This apartment offers easy SELF check in/out system. Key will be in key-box. The code for key-box will be send after booking is complete.
Iceland uses geothermal water for heating and you can drink our running cold water. It is no need to buy bottled water the tap water is fine. If you want to buy alcoholic beverages you need to go to liquor stores (Vínbúðin) as it is not sold in supermarkets.
I am a superhost in airbnb and on of my guest said: We had a wonderful time! We appreciated how clean the apartment was and how convenient it was for us to park our car. It was also a very easy walk to the hostel where our tours picked us up, so all in all, we couldn’t have asked for anything better!

Peaceful and comfortable

Check-in was easier than in hotel, the key was outside of apartment in the key box. Never met the owner, but she answered any questions we had promptly via VRBO app. Everything was as described, beds comfortable, and the neighborhood was very quiet. Thank you Thorunn!

Never did find out how to use stovetop. The local busses made trips into town easy.

Thanks a lot. There is a child lock on the stovetop. Need to hold down the button with the lock sign for 10 seconds. I had fixed it.

This was a great stay. The location was perfect ... easy to get to Reykjavík centre and near highways out of town. Thorunn (host) was quick and helpful with information. Place was clean, comfortable, roomy, well kitted out kitchen, good shower. Would highly recommend. We loved it!.

Lovely little apartment in Reykjavik

Perfect spot

We loved staying here for so many reasons - very well appointed, unbelievably quiet, dark (without the lights) but this is great in the summer because it helps you sleep! The apartment is also a very easy drive (10 mins) to downtown Reykjavik! We really hope to come back soon!

Felt like home!

My colleague and I was totally impressed, when we arrived at Thorunn's appartement. It was so comfortable and warm - second point is very important in Iceland ;). Thorunn also was really nice and helpful from the beginning. We really enjoyed our stay there. And of course, the little cozy sauna next to the bathroom was my absolut highlight! Good location, modern and clean

Our stay at the apartment was wonderful. Lots of space, very well stocked with basics necessities and appliances and very clean. A great bonus was the sauna that could easily fit 4 people. Location was central enough to get to everything quickly but not in a busy area so quiet. Would definitely recommend it and stay again.

Many of my guests say something like this: Thorunn’s place had everything that we could ever want in an air bnb. There was WiFi, a fully functioning kitchen that was fairly stocked, tv, a SAUNA! It was also conveniently located near a major bus stop into the city, and a small grocery store for odds and ends. We also loved that there was information about bus routes, restaurants in the area and overall tips on Reykjavík. We enjoyed the space as much as exploring Iceland, this is definitely a place that you should book if you ever decide to visit. Thank you!!!

One of my guest said: A fantastic apartment. The sauna was awesome. Perfect base for exploring this gorgeous country and Thorrun was very helpful. She even gave us some ideas of places to see in the West. The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed, plus it is larger than the pictures show.
