Gorgeous Unobstructed Gulf views & path in Laguna Beach on quiet West End of PCB

Welcome to Laguna Place Cottages, home of the world's most beautiful beaches! We are located in Laguna Beach on the west end of Panama City Beach.

This triplex of cottages is directly across the street of the sugar white sands of the Emerald Coast on the Gulf. The Nautical Cottage is a ground floor 2 bedroom/1 bath and is the perfect classic coastal charm suited best for 4-5 people. The master bedroom has a king bed and the 2nd bedroom has a queen bed. There is a sleeper sofa as well. The living room has plenty of comfortable seating and the kitchen is fully equipped. In the back of the property there are 3 grills, firepit, laundry facilities and an ice machine for your convenience. No long walks to the parking garage! There are 2 dedicated parking spots right outside your front door.

One block to the west, Laguna Place has the convenience of the Carousel Market, Wine Shop & liquor store. One block east is the famous Thomas Donuts & Snack Shop. Just 2-1/2 miles east is Pier Park which offers many attractions, restaurants and shopping.

We do have another cottage (The Beachy Cottage) VRBO# 2052235 of the same size which features a king bed, bunk beds and a sleeper sofa. Please inquire if your dates are not available for the Nautical Cottage.

Great little beachfront gem!

My husband and I enjoyed our 3 night stay! It's on the quieter side of Panama City and has a beautiful view of the ocean right across the street. Very convenient location-close to restaurants, shopping, etc.. The owner Jen could not have been kinder or more helpful! We would definitely stay here again!

This cottage is in the perfect location! You can sit on the porch and people watch and you have an excellent view of the beach. The host was very responsive and friendly! The cottage was stocked with the necessities in the kitchen. The ice machine and washing facilities out back are very handy! The bed was SO comfortable. Just walk across the street and down a little path to paradise! Loved it!!

Not the greatest.

I agree with a previous review, the owners were around a lot. I understand they were working on improving their properties but it did make us feel uncomfortable. However, they were very nice and accommodating. I would recommend waiting on the renovations until all the units are unoccupied. Maybe wait to rent out until the units are renovated. The view of the ocean is not that great from the first floor. I think it may be nice from the second floor. Bottom line, I think when the new owners get all the needed renovations completed it will be a nice place. But for now it is a little pricey for what it is.

Bonnie, we were not doing renovations while we were there. What we were doing was maintaining our property while our maintenance man was out. I believe you felt uncomfortable with us being around so much because we had to ask you multiple times to pick up after your pitbull and other smaller dog.

Amazing!

Beautiful old Florida style cottage. The owners are amazing and the location was perfect. You can feel the ocean breeze while sitting on the porch. It's only a few steps across the road from the Emerald green waters of the Gulf. There is nothing to obstruct the views of the beach from the porch. The owners were very attentive and kept in contact to ensure we were not needing anything. They are pet friendly here, but check with the host before you book. They will do thier best to accommodate you and your pets. There are beach chairs, umbrellas and beach toys for use. There is a shared washer and dryer for use, as well as an ice machine. The house is clean and neat with that old Florida decor. You are only a block away from the grocery store in one direction and a donut shop in the opposite direction. All in all it is the best location possible for the price. I will definitely book through them again. It was an amazing experience.

Minor things need fixed, but lovely location and attentive host.

Check in was super easy though we were placed in one that was a different one than online. We liked the side better anyway. Location is perfect, view is awesome. It is right down the street from where I lived 13 years ago and it is the quiet end of the beach which is exactly what we wanted as I don't like people. The room was pretty clean with the exception of the floors as my feet were black within half an hour of taking my shoes off. I didn't find a mop only a Swiffer there which likely explains it as they are notorious for getting the floor wet but not really clean. The kitchen is well stocked with spices, paper towels, dishes, etc but we used our own but it is nice for people who like not having to bring everything. The appliances worked well except the stove is the very old kind with burners and drip pans rather than a flat top and the back left burner is broken down into the housing making it unusable unless you want to start a fire. The rest worked fine. The bathroom had plenty of Toilet paper, towels etc but no shampoo or conditioner. The toilet was functional but it wasn't secured to the floor so if you leaned in any direction, the toilet moved with you. The shower is a good size and was clean which we appreciate. The only issue is that there isn't much light in there so maybe a clear curtain only would work better. The beds were a good size and comfortable and clean smelling. The place is decorated in a nice beachy vibe which we loved. We were surprised and delighted that there was an outdoor shower so you can rinse the sand off instead of taking it to bed with you. There is also a washer and dryer free to use. The first 2 days we didn't have wifi and the cable was choppy. The last two the cable and wifi were both working well. Overall, even though there are some issues it was a very nice getaway for my cold birthday. The host Jen was always willing to help and work in the issues and was very reachable which we really appreciated. We will stay again.

Cozy cottage

Enjoyed our stay very much. The owners were very receptive to any minor problems and resolved them very quickly. The bed was one of the most comfortable I've slept in next to mine. Great view directly across from the beach. Hope to stay upstairs next summer for an even greater view.

This place is in the best location in Laguna Beach. Walking distance to Thomas Donuts and Carasal Grocery. Quick drive to Dollar General or Winn Dixie. No need to go to Walmart where the crowds are....stay in Laguna and enjoy the Million Dollar view from the front porch. This is a gem. Owner is in the process of upgrades, but I love the old cottage feel of the property. When we weren't on the beach, we were on the porch enjoying the view. Perfect size for our family of 5. Excellent communication with owner. We will definitely be returning.

A Gem

I almost hate giving this review because I want this place and Laguna to stay quiet! The place was perfect. A two minute walk to groceries and liquor one way, breakfast and ice cream the other way. The beach across the street. What more do you need?? The owners are great and the place is as advertised. A great find.

Our family of 4 stayed in the unit with bunk beds. The apartment is vintage, and we knew that when we rented it. We thought it was very cute and quaint. The location is so easy! The grocery store is an easy one block stroll which made it getting drinks and meals super easy and laid back. Also, the walkable donut shop/ ice cream shop is where we started and ended our days. Getting to the beach and back is a breeze! So, great location, cute quaint place, it’s a win. Jen was also easy to work with and very friendly! Some of the furniture needs replacing, but hey, it’s a beach place! It was a relief to not worry about the kids messing up brand new things. 😉

Overall such a great find. directly across from beach. Kind owners. I didn’t understand how to checkout as far as what to do with linens to help the owner after we left but just totally enjoyed this place and our stay. My kids loved the beds and the beach toys and the shower right outside the unit. A stone’s throw from donuts and groceries. Has a very vintage vibe. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

Total relaxation

So many extras to make your stay so much more easier and the beach area was almost private social distancing was Def being observed here and we were able to walk to the store and to a wonderful Restaurant. The best thing we were able to bring our pet.

Our beaches are the most beautiful of Panama City Beach because we do not build on the sand to preserve everyone’s right to unobstructed views.

What makes this property unique

When you choose to stay with us, you are choosing to stay with classic Laguna Beach history! Our triplex was built in 1965 and is the only remaining triplex in Laguna Beach on Front Beach Road. While others around us may be quick to tear down and build larger Mansions, we prefer to keep the 1960s Coastal classic charm! Although the Sea-renity cottage is equipped with and has been updated throughout to modern day comforts and standards, you will find original 1965 charm everywhere you look.
