Bunkbed room

The Bunk bedroom is an entirely separate unit which was not evident in the property description. We counted don't hat for our kids to sleep there but ended up not using it because we couldn't hear them and didn't feel it was safe for a four and seven-year-old to spend the night alone in a separate unit. The communication with the host was very good at the beginning but not on the day of checkout. The property has a beautiful view the neighborhood is not the best for walking. The upstairs top floor has no heating.

We communicated many times throughout your stay, especially on the day of your check-out. answer all of your questions promptly. - Neighborhoods in Lake Arrowhead do not have sidewalks, pedestrian share the road with the cars, but it still is a beautiful walk in the mountains. - Our property has an A-frame structure, which means the heat rises to the top of the house, keeping it very warm and why the loft floor does not have it's own heating system as it is not designed to. Large family cabin with beautiful views

Finding the places is a hard but worth it. Find the emails and read all the details!!!!! It will help We loved our stay, we actually checked in December 19, 2021 and stood at Lily place for 4 days. The place was clean, spacious and had plenty of amenities for the whole family. Extra towels,heaters, fans, blankets etc…. This place is perfect for Multi families, snice you have multiple floors you also have multiple kitchens living rooms and the deck views 😍 We had the top floor and of course the teenagers had the lower floor. The only strange thing was the “ loft room was not connected” which was very clear on the details but I wasn’t sure where it was? Once we found the loft it was fine of course it was freezing since it was December and you had to walk outside. However it’s a nice size loft and plenty of beds and it’s own full restroom. Lily was a great host, check in was easy we did have one issue with the power due to powerlines being down, Unfortunately the back up generator never worked but we made the best of it. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and will be back for summer, I noticed there was AC units in bedrooms which is a big plus during the summer months. Can’t wait to come visit again

This home was perfect for my sisters, cousins friends an I to celebrate my bday weekend ! Beds for everyone, plenty of room in the well stocked kitchen. The decks had wonderful seating areas and views of the lake, trees and a feeling of tranquility.

Our family was looking for a place to getaway to for Thanksgiving and found this lovely Lake Arrowhead rental. My family loved the home. The view was absolutely stunning! The rental was incredibly spacious. and well equipped with every amenity we needed. We had a very happy Thanksgiving.

Heater problems, Misleading photos and noisy

Positives: 1- Kitchen was well equipped with appliances, pots, pans, dishes , cups, glasses. 2- Nice large deck with plenty of seating and cushions 3- Good lighting all over Negatives: 1-The house is right over the main road. 2-Passing by cars noise. 3-Power lines are in your view of the lake. 4- Hard to get to the actual house with super narrow rough roads, would not recommend renting this house during snow season. 5-Inside the house is dated, there is a lot of wasted space, narrow hallways. 6-Thermostat was locked and required a password, which made no sense except if you are trying to discourage people from using it, it took over 24 hours after multiple attempts to contact them to respond and unlock the thermostat remotely. 7-Towels were scarce especially when you are renting for 10 people. No shampoo or soap in showers. 8- photos looked great but in person, not so good. 9- we were told 2 days before our trip that HOA had decided guests can not have access to the lake and many other things.

Hi Fred, we're glad you enjoyed your stay overall, but sorry it fell short in certain aspects. The homeowner has asked us to share the following: - The house sits on a slope that is 70 yards above the main road. This being the mountains and not the city, sound travels much more and is amplified. We apologize if this made your stay less enjoyable. - There are power lines surrounding the entire main road around the lake, and seeing power lines is unavoidable. Luckily, guests are still able to see the beautiful lake views too! - The thermostat is ready for use. There are an Ecobee thermostat and motion sensor on each floor of the house. - As stated in the pre-stay information, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash are not included in the amenities. There are hand soap dispensers in every bathroom, and toilet paper is provided. - We apologize if you didn't locate the towels in the bathroom cabinets. The house has 14 sets of towels in the four bathrooms, making a total of 42 white towels of varying sizes. - The Lake Arrowhead HOA voted not to allow vacation guests the amenities of the lake; this is unfortunate and out of our control. However, there are hiking trails, a shopping outlet, and a boat ride at the village that are all available to the public. Thanks for your feedback, and we hope you enjoyed your time here!

The property is much further away from the lake than we thought. The upstairs rooms were too hot. No shampoo in the bathrooms or paper towels and there weren't enough towels. We stayed for 2 nights, so it was ok, but for a longer stay we would not have been very comfortable

We have relayed your feedback to the homeowner, and we'd like to share the following: -Unfortunately, there was an unexpected record high heat wave during your stay. There are ceiling fans, window fans, and floor fans in each of the upstairs rooms, but we're sorry if your group was still uncomfortable. We are sure this won't be an issue for future guests. -There are 12 towels per bathroom (four bath size, four hand towels, and four face towels). There are these three sets for each of the bathrooms. These are in the bathroom cabinets. -We do not advertise shampoo as an amenity to this home. Thanks for taking the time to leave us a review!

Awesome 4th of July Weekend!

The place was a super fun with multiple rooms, floors, and decks. The VIEW of the lake is spectacular. Be sure to understand the best way to arrive to the driveway, some are more exciting than others. Also, easy walk down to the lake. Great for large groups!

Well kept, a lot of room to socialize. Only negative was the top floor bathroom, as it is an A-line roof, the mirrors are at a slant, so it's impossible to use for doing hair and makeup.

Cozy cabin for a large group

We had a fabulous time in this cabin with a group of 16. The rooms and beds were cozy and the surrounding area and view of the lake was gorgeous. Our only set back was having a bit of a difficult time finding the upper entrance to the house. It started to snow when we arrived and we could not safely make it up the roads to the top of the house and had to carry all our luggage up icy, steep stairs. Once the snow melted a bit, we could go up the road to the main upper level and the remainder of the trip was fantastic. The home is generously stocked with all the essentials and kitchen gadgets to make tasty meals at home and close to shopping and sight seeing. We would definitely return!
