The location is unbeatable and this was a perfect place for our family of 4. The kitchen had everything we needed, thank goodness for air conditioning, and the owners were responsive when we had questions. Would happily stay there again.

Comfortable accommodations with an artistic flare in a great location for attending Oregon Shakespearean Festival. Easy walking to OSF, Lithia Park, great restaurants, and downtown shopping. Quiet neighborhood.
We had a fabulous stay in this sweet cottage, a block from the amazing Ashland Food Co op and minutes from town and the park.
would love to come back and stay again.
We have stayed in this property back in 2019. It is still a great location to walking downtown Ashland. Everything is here that you need to enjoy a homey stay while away from home.
John and Mori are excellent hosts, great communication! It's a lovely home with a comfy bed and all the kitchen utensils you need. Location was excellent for restaurants and attending shows at OSF! We'll be going back again!!

Ken and Barb are delightful. We so enjoyed their stay, their company, and their joy in being in our home. We just love having guests that love our home the way we love our home and Ken and Barb are just that!
They are fun, positive, friendly people and some of our favorite guests we have had the pleasure in hosting.
Thanks for choosing Ashland Artisan House and looking forward to next time. !

We had a great stay at this cute, artsy cottage! The location is perfect - a short walk to theaters and restaurants and the Ashland Co-op is a block away for groceries. The kitchen is very well-stocked with cooking supplies and had everything we needed. The bed is quite comfortable, with a memory foam mattress and the couch is comfy too. The building is a loft, so the upstairs is open, so ear plugs are helpful. We would definately stay there again.
John and Mori have a house that is welcoming and in an excellent location in Ashland. It is comfortable and they have thought of many details, including charging stations and extra lighting. Thanks for a great place to stay during our vacation!

Creatively decorated and comfortably furnished and super convenient to OSF, stores, restaurants! Mori and John were welcoming and respectful. I highly recommend this property.

Thank you Michael, it was our pleasure hosting you. Please come again. So lovely to have met you both. Thank you so much.
Very nice rental. The house was very colorful and well-built, located a block from the Food Coop and a few blocks from downtown and the theatre district. Very quiet. The hosts were nearby but respected our privacy. The bedroom was upstairs, not an issue for us but might be if someone has trouble with stairs. We hope to stay there again!
From the moment we arrived, we felt welcome and delighted in this amazing, colorful house. The hosts were outside in the yard to greet us, and answered any questions. We enjoyed how artistically every inch of the house was decorated, and the location was perfect for walking downtown. Info and photos are accurate, but it was better than expected!
It was nice to be close enough to all the amenities of OSF that we didn't have to drive at all while we were in town. It was too chilly to enjoy the front porch, but I think it would have been the perfect location to sit and enjoy the sunshine.
John and Mori have created a home that rather belongs in Oz or the other side of the looking glass. Every corner of the property has been considered with the hosts creative eyes and gifted skills. It is as fun to stay in as it looks in the photos. We loved it so much we hope one day soon to call John and Mori neighbors.

Wonderful whimsical house near Oregon Shakespeare Festival
I was trying to think of a word to describe this one of a kind house and whimsical came to mind. It is beautifully decorated throughout with warm colors, artwork, and special touches everywhere. Handmade pottery and cups, colorful tile bathroom, roomy porch to hang out. There is a bedroom loft upstairs and a very comfortable hide-a-bed in the living room. It is hard to describe fully how much fun it was to stay there.
The Artisan House was a wonderful place to be and to have as a home-base during our stay in Ashland. It is artfully painted and decorated, and well appointed with amenities and appliances. The kitchen, dining and living area downstairs is quite comfortable, and the loft bedroom upstairs is spacious. Just 3 blocks from downtown and 1 block from the natural foods coop and coffee shops. It was perfect for our time in in this charming town.

Thank you for spending your time here. Your kindness and presence were a delight. If you should find yourself again in this area in your travels please come stay any time so we may meet again.
Safe and beautiful travels your way,
Mori and John
We stayed a full week and saw seven plays. The location is wonderful! Just a few short blocks to the shopping, a quick walk through the alley to the co-op, and easy street parking.
The interior and exterior are beautifully decorated and well kept. Be aware that the sleeping is upstairs, and bring a sleep mask if you’re sensitive to light as there’s a skylight over the stairwell that can’t be closed up.
The kitchen is small but perfectly equipped, with a nice gas stove and a small but adequate fridge.
We hope you’ll enjoy your stay as much as we did! We’ll definitely stay here again if it’s available next year!

Welcome to Ashland Artisan House/Fusion Artworks a petite gallery —where we live, create, and meet magic that feeds the soul! A unique experiential place to drop into the lives of working Ashland artists! We’re a husband-and-wife team shaped by 33 years. It excites us to open our private accommodations, our gallery, and our world of color and art for a memorable addition to your stay. Creating together keeps us awake to the sacredness of living each breath with affection. We know life is temporary — which makes everything more extraordinary. It sharpens our senses and deepens our gratitude. Sharing our space and our art has been our mirror, our medicine, our teacher, and the place we return when there is difficulty making sense in the outside world, our way of recharging and resetting so we can continue contributing to the greater good. Our art reflects the enchantment we’ve found in love, beauty, creativity, and the planet that holds us. Thank you for selecting Ashland Artisan Home for your landing, Safe Travels, Mori and John
Why they chose this property
After living in the mountains 32 miles from town, down an eight mile dirt road, and off power, John and I decided to move our family down to town. It was time for us to socialize with young families such as our own, get active in our community, and experience town life. For 2 city slickers that grew up in large cities, Ashland is quaint, friendly and small. The cows moo in the outskirts of town and it is as picturesque as any calendar! It's a total European feel and we are both first generation American.
What makes this property unique
We have lived in what is now your living space so we know it was set up and furnished just the way we would like things. We love our home and it brings us joy to share it. We both love to travel and we have the home set up as we would like our stays. The sleeping accommodations are comfortable because we know a good nights sleep is essential. It is wonderful to have everything in close proximity including OSF, Ashland food co op, library, post office, parks, swimming holes, hikes, hardware store, galleries, and restaurants.
