It was my first time utilizing a VRBO property and it could not have gone better. Great cottage, spacious and cozy at the same time. Stunning views of the lake and very convenient location. Didn't realize that the lake was shallow which actually was a blessing because we had a toddler with us and it made the lake experience more enjoyable.

Very nice property. Absolutely stunning sunsets! Stacy has done a great job from decorating to the oversized bath towels. We would definitely stay here again.

Our 2nd stay in this beautiful lake front home was absolutely perfect. My wife and I and another couple shared this 3 bedroom, 2 Bathroom home for the 2nd year in a row during peak Fall foliage season. The home is situated literally steps from the shore of Lake Memphremagog, and the home has absolutely spectacular views across the Lake and north into Canada in the distance. For the 2nd year in a row, the house was very clean and fully provisioned. It had plenty of space for two couples to share, and with a 3rd bedroom the house has plenty of room for a family with up to a few children. Driving around this very scenic area during the peak Fall foliage season was beautiful virtually everywhere we went. The house is about a 5 minute drive from downtown Newport, VT, which is a charming town with a nice lakefront. There is also a nearby large Walmart that has groceries. You have a choice of Boat cruises on both ends of the Lake. This year we took a boat ride from Magog, Quebec. The scenery on the Lake was again spectacular. The house is also a fairly short distance from Derby Line, VT and the now famous International Haskell Library and Opera House which literally straddles the International border between Derby Line, Vermont, and Stanstead Quebec. The house's location just a few miles south of the Canadian/ Quebec border also makes day trips into southern Quebec easy. Among other places, we went to Magog Quebec (with great shops, restaurants and a Lakefront Park).
The host had very fast responses and the check in process was very simple. Interior and exterior were very well kept and comfortable. Interior was very cozy with plenty of seating and the bedrooms are spacious. Waking up and enjoying the vast views out the large windows facing the lake was breathtaking and refreshing. Made a great way to start a new day.

Sitting at the dining room table and eating breakfast while looking out at the lake was a very relaxing and enjoyable experience. We took a boat ride on the Northern Star Cruise Line, which runs a variety of boat cruises that go from Downtown Newport and up across the border into Canada and back. The scenery was spectacular. The house's location just a few miles south of the Canadian/ Quebec border also makes a day trip into southern Quebec easy or even a trip into southern Quebec just for dinner is quite easy to do. In all, this was a spectacular place to stay for a couple of days.
