This was home away from home! This studio apt was perfect for a relaxing week in Oahu. Everything works, the place was clean and had perfect AC. View from balcony/kitchen was great! Located extremely convenient in Waikiki with a parking space and the whole building is clean and quiet. This modest living accommodation makes you feel local than touristy. Brooke was easy to communicate with but little needed since the apt was already clean and ready for check in. There are a few things trivial-like having a toilet paper holder and the fridge door opening-compared to the modern appliances and great use of space/amenities. I would note that the washer is only good for small loads and best to byo detergent and dryer sheets, and dishwasher liquid. All in all great stay, hope to be back again.

Was not informed that the pool was not available. Then the building manager/ security man told us that we couldn’t use the toilet, tub/shower or sinks because water was leaking into the room below. After 2 days got VRBO to cancel the reservation and relocate us. Basically the room was ok, but could use some real curtains and some TLC. Some curb appeal is need, just plain walls, no photos or pictures on the walls. Brooke offered a discount, but with the bathroom problem, we couldn’t do it, had to go up a couple of floors to use a toilet up by the pool deck. Hope that Brooke can get the issues fixed. The location is nice, very close to the international market place. The free parking is a great perk.

Unit was a big disappointment. Wasn't clean when we checked in. Used coffee grounds still in the maker. Paint splatters all over the floor in every room. Torn curtains. No toilet paper holder. Only 1 small pot to cook in, nothing to use in the oven, no bowls to mix in or make salad, only 2 plastic cups and 2 stainless coffee cups. Only 4 plastic plates/bowls (which I prefer not to microwave). Nothing but a tiny salt/pepper. People rent units w/ kitchens on vacation and don't want to buy full-sized condiments, cooking oil, spices, etc. There also weren't any beach towels and only small hooks for bath towels. Tub leaked and water came up under tile and around grout to pool on the floor. We told the owner about the cracks in the tub and she said she'd let maintenance know. The only pluses to the unit were the washer/dryer (I brought my own laundry sheets), the free parking and the view from the balcony. Not the stylish accommodations in the owners description at all. One of the worst VRBO properties we've ever stayed in and definitely not worth the money.

Being in the heart of Waikiki with free parking and a lovely roof top pool was a huge selling point to me while picking this property. The in unit washer and dryer is such a convenience with all the fun beach days you’ll have!
