About this property

GRANDMA'S GET-A-WAY (Water Front property ) WIFI. Private covered one bay dock.

This house sits in a very calm cove on the 87 mile marker on the Ozarks side perfect for tubbing little ones, riding wet bikes or just swimming or maybe a little fishing from our private one bay covered dock. Your welcome to bring your boat, the boat launch is in Twin Beach just mins. From Grandmas Getaway.
Our favorite things to do are....Enjoy our morning coffee sitting on the patio just looking out at the lake. grabbing a fishing pole catching a few fish, going
for a little swim or maybe a boat ride. We also enjoy taking the paddle boat/kayaks for a trip around the cove.
At the end of the day enjoy the back patio, fire up the grill/firepit have dinner while watching the lake. Grandmas Getaway is approx. 8-10 mins from Walmart and many restaurants.

We have a place for trailers on the hill before you go down driveway to Grandmas Getaway. there will be other
trailers there as well. There is no good place to turn around if you pull your trailer to the house.

Load and start the dishwasher

Gather used towels

Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish

Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys

Please put dishes away . Put air on 74 . If you used heat please put it on 65 .

Please put all dirty towels in basket in spare room. Please bag all trash and put it in trash can out front by tree.

Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

There is a basket in the 2nd bedroom for dirty linens Help us keep grill clean for future guest wipe grill down when done. If not 25.00 charge

Please wash and put dishes away before departure. If not there will be a $25.00 charge If paddle boat is used please strap back on dock.(no charge)

Empty all trash and place all trash bags in the trash can in front by tree. no loose or fish carcasses in trash can call upon departure 816-217-1996

Super cozy get away cabin! Everything was SPOTLESS! The beds were SO comfortable and they had the best pillows!!The cabin was very secluded and peaceful with a great view of the lake.

Grandma’s Getaway was a great place to getaway to relax and do some fishing. Very clean and Tammy the cleaning lady welcomed us and told us all about what was there for our stay. Went into Warsaw and did some antiquing. we will plan another stay there again. Thank you for sharing your hospitality and sharing your cabin.

Cabin is right on the lake with a private dock. The cove is very quiet The back porch is shaded. Cabin is very clean and comfortable. Our dog loved playing in the water. Highly recommend this cabin.

The cabin and private covered boat dock was awesome. The cabin was roomy for 5 guests. Everything that you need for cooking and making meals was provided. Nicely remodeled cabin. It's so peaceful and quiet on this cove. Neighbors were supper nice too. Only caught a couple small catfish, but with all the rain this summer, I'm not surprised by that. Whether you're relaxing or enjoying the lake life, you'll get everything you came for and then some. Kayaks and paddle boat provided. The host was very pleasant and understanding to talk to and provided us with everything someone could ask for. We really enjoyed our time at the cabin. It was clean and very nicely furnished. The bedding and towels were nice and soft, and there were plenty of towels for the 5 of us. The boat launch was basically next door, and the dock was perfect for our pontoon, as well as fishing and swimming. The cove was very nice, quiet and big. The kids loved making s'mores over the fire pit but decided that it was easier to roast their hot dogs on the grill. This was the kids, 8, 10 and 14, first trip to the lake. The loved it and I know they would be happy to come back any time. The owner was in site when we arrived and helped us get into the cabin and gave us a tour. I can't think of anything that we didn't like about the cabin and would recommend for anyone.

Why they chose this property

Its in a nice location on the water. The road leading to the house is a little rough, it’s like finding a piece of paradise.
This sweet little house sits in a cove off of the Osage arm. with a private covered one bay dock. About 8-10 mins from Wal-Mart, Gas and Restaurants.

What makes this property unique
