This place was probably real cute at some point and I was looking forward to returning to Joshua Tree with my family and staying here but the place was not like the photos. The double pull out sofa bed advertised as the second bed was replaced with two floor mats - the alternate was a filthy white futon. All the dishes needed to be rewashed before use, there were stains on the bed sheets, the e-bikes are stored indoor and took up half the living room. The place desperately needs a deep clean and some love. I was fine with the front door code not working, the bedding not left out, the heater malfunctioning… but on top of the other issues it was too much for a short trip meant for family time. Pros - the location and amenities outside are good and the host was quick to respond.

This place was probably real cute at some point and I was looking forward to returning to Joshua Tree with my family and staying here but the place was not like the photos. The double pull out sofa bed advertised as the second bed were two floor mats (it was very cold when we were there and these on a concrete floor don’t cut it). The alternate was a filthy white futon. The place was also very dirty. All the dishes needed to be rewashed before use, there were stains on the bed sheets, the e-bikes are stored indoor and took up half the living room. The place desperately needs a deep clean and some love. There were other issues that happen that the host responded to quickly (code didn’t work, bedding wasn’t left out, heater broker in the bedroom) but it was too much - I’ve stayed in many air bnbs vrbos and this was the first time I’ve ever had to contact the host not once but multiple times over issues. Disappointing for a short trip meant for family time. Pros - the location and amenities outside are good and the host was quick to respond.*I was given a partial refund at my request due to the beds not being what is in the listing and photo but it was less than what I paid in cleaning fees.
When we arrived the jacuzzi was already heated and ready to use, great kitchen, and wonderful hosts! Thank you!

About the host

Let me tell you a little bit about us. We have 2 daughters; Juniper (3 years old) and Roux (6 years). Family means the world to us. We love Airbnb because it gives us the opportunity to be present in our children's lives.
It’s especially valuable to be able to work from home right now while Ramon is on dialysis awaiting an organ transplant.
3 things we can't live without are Mexican food, our Calm meditation app and our lucky hats. One of Cherish’s favorite movies is Band a Part. She love Fleet Foxes and nights at Pappy & Harriets. Ramon loves reading Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy and all things Dr. Who. Roux’s favorite thing to do is play with kinetic sand and Juniper is learning how to walk.
Our goal as hosts is to make sure you feel at home. :-)
