Perfect location for me. I loved Arcata and this place was perfect. Made breakfast every morning and the kitchen was great. The bed and the fold out couch was very comfortable

Very cozy and located in a conveniently located quiet neighborhood, just a 20 minute walk to Downtown Arcata and Cal Poly Humboldt. Perfect stay for couples. The house is well supplied with general use utensils and super clean. Hosts Matt and Katie were super nice and communicative thought the entire stay. Recommended!

Exceptional stay at the Arcata Sunset Townhouse! Highlights: absolutely spotlessly clean home; exceptionally comfortable bed; easy check in/out; quick and clear host communication. Little things that make all the difference: good water pressure; handheld shower nozzle; abundant towels/pillows/blankets/etc. Things to know before your visit: there is no traditional table (just a narrow bar with three barstools) and there are no light-blocking window coverings (some windows have linen-type shades that provide privacy but allow light). Overall: I will gladly book this property again for my next visit to the area—great find!

Sorry you thought the neighborhood was subpar. Thanks for staying and best wishes! NOTE to future guests: we have only received great reviews for the location so far. The home is easy access to hwy 101, near highly desirable Sunset Blvd, Cal Poly, and downtown Arcata. We recommend staying east of hwy 101 or further north if you're not looking to be centrally located. Arcata is a quaint, down-to-earth college town and not too fancy either :)

The stay here in Arcata was wonderful and Wesvery comfortable accommodations. The neighborhood was central, and we took many walks from there to explore downtown and beautifulHumboldt State campus. If you enjoy hiking, the hiking trails that lead off of the campus into the redwood forests are breathtaking! Very enjoyable stay.
