The Good Life River House luxury barndominium is located at access point #1 of the Santa Fe Paddling Trail with numerous springs to explore! Guests can access the river directly from the property or from the High Springs boat ramp through a gate on the property. This stylish retreat offers seclusion and peaceful river vibes just a few minutes from downtown High Springs, close to UF and Shands.
We have all the amenities for a great stay, including a large fenced yard, kayaks, floats, games, & fire pit. The property is a natural forested setting with abundant wildlife and dark night skies!

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Verify both ends of sliders are locked (lock in upright position), lock front door by pressing the lock button then checking to ensure lock has engaged. Close gate to property.
Place all bagged and tied garbage in Rec Room. Two large receptacles are provided, one for recycling and one for trash.
Place patio cushions up against the house on the covered patio, or inside the house.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
No pets on furniture or beds. Additional cleaning will incur additional fees.
No parties or large groups without prior permission. We are open to events with prior approval. Send us a detailed message if you are interested.
We are on a septic system. Please do not flush ANYTHING but toilet tissue, and do not put food down the kitchen sink.

We had an excellent stay. Everything is very clean and well stocked. The layout is perfect for our group and is the nicest place we've ever rented, especially considering we are allowed to bring a dog. This is our second stay at this property and we are impressed by the improvements to the backyard. We hope to book again for future visits to Gainesville.

Absolutely amazing stay!! The house is so clean, comfortable, and more than equipped with all the essentials. We are big on cooking at home and had everything we needed. We especially enjoyed the river and letting the kids wade in the water. So many squirrels and birds with the sound of quiet nature. The boat ramp is close, but also feels far enough away to feel private. We enjoyed the public boat ramp as we got to socialize with some locals, all of which were extremely friendly. The town is quaint with some of the nicest people, and the nearby springs were epic. We can’t wait to return! Thank you for sharing such an amazing home!!

It was a wonderful place to stay! Our family came in to celebrate my nephew getting married. There was plenty of space and the locations was awesome too! Kim was prompt in her communication and very helpful! We enjoyed making a big breakfast on Saturday before getting ready for the wedding festivities! This host is so intentional with all the amenities provided and they have thought of anything needed! Including 2 safety pins needed when my daughters dress had a few issues before we left :) We will definitely tell others about this place and try to stay again when we come back to visit family.
