The views are million dollar views! Sunrise to sunset - we had breathtaking views of the beach paths, enjoyed the fire pit and played family games in the perfect family room. The beds were not our cup of tea but were clean and tidy. It was a great New Years!

Beautiful inside spaces at the property, however upon arrival we found multiple dead and decaying birds as well as bird poop covering the entire outdoor spaces and furniture. We notified the property management team and it took hours for them to respond and over 24 hours for them to handle the issue (which ended up needing a power washing). The issue was only handled due to my continued and persistent pressure on the team, as well as pressure from VRBO, who I had to reach out to directly because of a lack of response from the Porter team. I would absolutely not stay at a property managed by the Porter team again, and would definitely not consider them a "premier host" as notated on their vrbo profile. Upon completion of my stay, the team offered me a 50 refund for the "inconvenience" of them refusing to deal with a health hazard that rendered the outdoor areas of the property unusable for over 24 hours. The property obviously did not have a thorough check of outdoor spaces before our arrival, and the lack of response from the Porter team made it a difficult and frustrating rental experience.

We had a wonderful stay at this beach house and made so many great family memories here! The location was fantastic, with beautiful views and easy beach access. The home was spacious, comfortable, and had plenty of room for everyone to relax. Kitchen was equipped with everything we needed! We especially enjoyed spending time together cooking, grilling, enjoying the hot tub and taking in the ocean views. The elevator was a HUGE plus and made unloading and loading a breeze! The host was responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Even after experiencing some tropical storm weather and a temporary power outage that affected the area, communication was excellent and any concerns were addressed promptly. Overall, we had a great vacation and would definitely recommend this property to others looking for a relaxing beach getaway in Galveston. Thank you for sharing your home with our family!
