The house is beautiful with everything you need. There was a full kitchen and they had basic kitchen supplies as well! The rooms were so spacious and our whole party enjoyed our stay. We did have a problem with a light switch in the basement but Johanna was very responsive to our needs. The house is a little further from some of the towns that we visited for distillery tours, but overall the amenities and space beat out distance and convenience. Would stay here again!! 10/10!

House was a dream for a large group. Everyone was super happy with the amenities and area. Quick drive to distilleries, lovely views, big heated pool, nice tv areas for movie nights, great hot tub & sauna combo. Was super well equipped kitchen/bathroom wise as well. Couldn’t have asked for better for our 14 person friend group week. There is the occasional spider downstairs but is simply due to the awesome location. The host is extremely fast and responsive to any questions and concerns as well!

Wonderful home with exactly as described amenities. Minus one star because the home is in the middle of nowhere and many lights and any appliances that were chargeable (rather than wired) did not work. Thanks for the stay!

Our entire family enjoyed Expressions on the rocks. The grandkids had a blast in the pool hot tub and sauna. Johanna our hostess was wonderful. We even made a friend of one of the local pups. Great spot if you want to hit the bourbon trail. We had a nice, quiet, relaxing trip….except for a couple of bouts of car sickness. Take the long way to Frankfort, Lexington and Louisville if you have get motion sickness. The scenic routes are wild rides!

Fantastic - Family Friendly experience in the county and the bourbon trail!

We had a fantastic holiday weekend at this property - Two families (4 adults, 4 kids) stayed with plenty of room and amenities. This house could have easily slept more. Communication from the host was clear and prompt. The kids absolutely loved the game room and adults enjoyed the ample living spaces on both the main floor and the basement. Although we didn't use the pool given the time of year, the hot tub, sauna, and fire pit were great! Our kids loved seeing the horses all around the property. The location is right along the eastern bourbon trail, but we could have driven to other parts of the trail within 30-45 minutes. Overall we HIGHLY recommend this property. We absolutely will be coming back.

Our weekend getaway at this property was absolutely incredible from pre-booking to checkout. The home is beautifully designed with thoughtful, luxurious details and amenities that made it feel like a true retreat. Every space was stunning, comfortable, and clearly curated with intention.The outdoor area was a dream! The large pool was perfect for relaxing with plenty of space for swimming and play. The hot tub and sauna made the evenings feel like a private spa experience. We didn't have enough time to enjoy the fire pit, but it would have been perfect for us with lots of seating around it, while also being close to the pool and hot tub. The back area created such a cozy atmosphere at night, and a serene retreat each day. The game room kept everyone entertained for hours. There was truly something for each of us to enjoy.We were impressed with how the property balanced elegance with comfort. It felt both upscale and welcoming, making it easy to fully relax and enjoy our time together. This was the best vacation rental we have ever experienced, and we would return in a heartbeat. We highly recommend this to anyone looking for privacy, quiet, fun, luxurious touches, and a memorable getaway!Johanna has been wonderful, quickly and clearly answering our questions before we even booked, throughout our checkout. The property was easy to find for all of our party, traveling from different routes.
