Wake up every morning and watch the beautiful sunrise peeking up over the Okaloosa Pier and end each day with the most amazing sunsets you will ever experience. If you enjoy a more secluded, less crowded beach where you can enjoy the full untamed beauty and sounds of the Gulf, step into our world when you stay at “Sandy Things”.

There are two large bedrooms, with one king, two queen sized beds. In the living room there are two new sofas with two recliners each. One There are two full baths with walk-in showers, fully equipped kitchen with granite counters and everything you need to cook or grill the best of meals.

There is a utility room off the kitchen, with full-sized washer and dryer. The unit is located on the ground floor... that's right, no more waiting for elevators or dealing with luggage carts. Pull up to the front door and walk right in.

Experience breathtaking views from the moment you walk inside the front door. When you're ready to enjoy this astounding beach, just step off the patio onto the sand and just a few more steps over the dune's bridge and you're ready to experience this exhilarating island. There is ample seating on the patio so the whole family can enjoy the amazing views.

Evenings are exceptional at “Sandy Thongs” because unlike so many other complexes with roads you have to cross or pools you have to walk through to get to the beach. There is nothing to obscure your access or view of the ocean. Surf Dweller's heated swimming pool, kiddy pool, gym and tennis/pickle ball court are located in the front of the complex, which allows guest to enjoy private, quiet evenings on the patio where the stars are amazing, and the sounds of the gulf will mesmerize you and capture your heart forever.

“Sandy Thongs” is located within minutes of anything you could possibly want to experience during your visit. The Boardwalk, Okaloosa Island Pier, Gulfarium, Pleasure Island Water Park, and Beasley and Henderson Parks are a must see. Also, if you want to spend the day in the bay or at Crab Island between Fort Walton Beach and Destin, boat and jet ski rentals are less than a mile away.

There are many great restaurants within a few minutes of “Sandy Thongs”. The convenience of shopping for groceries, or other items are also just minutes away in Fort Walton Beach.

When you book “Sandy Thongs” free beach service is provided between March 1 - October 31st and includes two beach chairs and one umbrella each day. Also, we provide some beach toys. We provide starter supplies of dish soap, dishwasher soap, trash bags, paper towels, toilet paper, laundry pods, body wash, shampoo and conditioner. Beach towels are available for our guests to use as well. There is an assortment of games, adult and children's books for everyone to enjoy.
