From arrival to departure our stay could not have been more pleasant. The cabin exceeded our expectations in every regard. It is thoughtfully crafted with just about everything anyone could want or need to make us feel right at home. We will definitely stay there in the future.Stephanie Miller is a kind and wonderful hostess who takes personal interest in her guests.
Super fun place, we enjoyed our quaint cabin, walking to breakfast, shopping in the boutique. Super friendly staff made our stay relaxing and enjoyable. Will definitely come here again!
Cabin was cute, comfortable, and cool (a must with the summer heat). Perfect for my husband and me while vacationing with family in the hill country. Stephanie is a wonderful host.
Looking for a quiet place for the weekend with a king bed that was also pet friendly. This place was amazing. Stephanie was a wonderful hostess and also has a super cute boutique on site - definitely go check it out.
The cabin was just as described but better and had all of the extra that we loved. Great outdoor sitting area - nice yard which is fenced in for our dog - who we kept on a long leash. The interior was very well appointed. Comfy furniture, extremely comfortable king bed and pillows, a standup fan for those of us who like a fan on while we’re sleeping. Also provides lots of privacy.
The area is super cute and very quiet but there are lots of spots nearby where you can sit or swim and enjoy the Guadalupe. We will most definitely be back. Thanks again for providing a really great getaway Stephanie. We loved it.
We absolutely loved the cabin. It is quaint, and located in a great part of town. Stephanie is communicative, which we appreciated. We will definitely be staying there again!
We really liked cabin 2. It had everything that you could possibly need, including a well stocked refrigerator! We loved sitting outside under the covered porch with our morning coffee. Stephanie is a great host. The negative was it wasn't clean. They're are alot of knick knacks everywhere which are nice to look at but it makes it impossible to clean around. Kitchen and bathroom were clean, but there was dust and quite a few cobwebs that have been there for awhile. Had to get something from under the bed and the floor was covered in dust. It also needs brighter lighting. We loved the cabin and location but wish it had been deep cleaned.
The cabin had everything we could have possibly needed. The bed was comfy and the shower roomy, both being items we’ve been disappointed in at other properties. We will definitely book here again!
We were very pleased with how cute and cozy the cabin was. The owner is very friendly and helped with our accommodations. Would definitely tell our friends looking for a quiet place to stay. Easy access to towns and no traffic sounds. Nice covered porch for happy hour.
The cabin is wonderfully situated in. A fenced in area behind the store and adjacent to the other cabin. Stephanie was such a kind and gracious host, we were fortunate to meet her upon arrival. The property is very private and set back from the road to provide the perfect relaxation ambiance we were seeking. It is a short drive to Kerrville, which we enjoyed trying the restaurants and walking in the park alongside the river. Everything was spotless at the cabin, and many comforts and conveniences were provided including cozy blankets, locally sourced soaps, and shampoos. The added bonus was the full breakfast in the refrigerator- muffins, eggs, juices- even a variety of cereals with milk and a selection of creamers for the coffee. Very happy woth our stay.
This was a perfect quiet weekend alone. A last-minute glitch at home meant I had to bring my foster dog with me. No problem. The cabin is beautiful and comfortable. Every detail is covered. Stephanie is a great hostess. There are plenty of treats and things available in her shop. I look forward to staying here again!
We love staying here! We've stayed a few times and will def be bk. It's our favorite place to stay in the hill country... perfect location.
The shop is so cute and the new coffee bar is great! 🙂
This trip was part business and part personal. The location was great, about 10 minutes from where my business part of the trip was located.
Stephanie thought of just about anything you could need or want. The continental breakfast was amazing. The muffins were a nice touch and they tasted great.
We will definitely keep this one on our list if we are back in the area.

About the host
Hosted by Stephanie Miller
Cris and Stephanie Miller purchased this property in the spring 2013. Quickly transforming the property from a home to business. They transformed it into a Boutique and Bed and Breakfast. They have lived in the hill country for 13 years and love being able to offer the ability for others to experience the hill country.
Why they chose this property
Do you live in the hustle and bustle of the city? Then check in at the Wishing Well and you will soon forget the stresses of city life and dream of the day you will be able to return to the tranquility the hill country. We have even added a water feature and definitely adds a little zen to the stay. Shopping, walking to the river and visiting Stonehenge at the Hill country Art Foundation are all moments away.
What makes this property unique
This property has a boutique "Perfect Surroundings" immediately in front of the cabins and offers the finest in ladies fashions and great gifts. The Cabins offer guests the ability to enjoy the secluded comfort of the country but be steps away from great shopping, galleries and eateries.
