About this property

Ibis Isle• Sleeps 12• Walk to Beach & Big Store • Large Fenced Play Area, & Yard

Welcome to Ibis Isle, a family‑friendly home that sleeps 12 in one of the most walkable areas of Crystal Beach. You’re a short walk to the beach and The Big Store, and close to local stores, shops, restaurants, the Dollar General and Family Dollar stores, and the doughnut shop. Designed and built using our many years of experience creating beach homes, Ibis Isle was made to give families a comfortable, easy, and memorable stay.

The outdoor spaces are a major highlight. A large fully fenced play area connects directly to the fenced side yard, giving kids and dogs plenty of room to roam safely. The side yard includes a play set, and there’s also a shaded kids’ play area under the stair platform. Parents and groups can relax at the tables, chairs, and charcoal grill on the unique fenced concrete slab gathering area, all while keeping an eye on the kids. The large front yard offers even more room for yard games and family time. A gazebo with a table and chairs sits just off the front deck—one of the most‑loved features of the home.

Inside, the open living area is comfortable and welcoming, with ceiling fans in the living room and master bedroom. The kitchen is fully stocked and includes an island that seats four. The master bedroom features a walk‑in shower, and the hall bathroom has a tub/shower combination. Linens are furnished and beds are made before you arrive. Two loads of laundry detergent and dryer sheets are provided.

Under the house, you’ll find a shaded bar area that’s great for entertaining, plus an outdoor shower (not enclosed) for rinsing off after the beach. Vehicles are allowed on the beach, and golf carts can be rented nearby. Beach parking permits can be purchased at almost any local business. Guests will need a personal vehicle to get around the area.

We’re always available by phone if needed and are committed to providing a clean, well‑maintained home for your stay. Ibis Isle was created with families in mind, and we hope it becomes a place you’ll want to return to year after year.

We’re a small, three‑generation family of homebuilders from the Texas Gulf Coast. Building homes has been part of our family since the 1970s, and today we care for the vacation homes we designed and built ourselves. We enjoy hosting families who appreciate clean, comfortable spaces and the relaxed pace of the peninsula. We stay in these homes too, so we’re always improving them and making sure guests feel welcome.

Why they chose this property

We chose this neighborhood because it offers the relaxed, family‑friendly atmosphere we’ve always loved about the Bolivar Peninsula. The street is peaceful, with plenty of space to unwind, and it’s a short walk to The Big Store and the beach, which makes vacations simple and convenient. We also enjoy being a short distance to local stores, shops, and restaurants, while still feeling tucked away from the busier areas. It’s the kind of place where families can spread out, enjoy the outdoors, and settle into an easy coastal rhythm — exactly what we wanted to share with our guests.

What makes this property unique

We chose this neighborhood because it captures everything we love about the Bolivar Peninsula: a relaxed, family‑friendly atmosphere, wide open spaces, and a slower pace that makes it easy to unwind. The street is peaceful and welcoming, with plenty of room for kids to play and families to spread out without feeling crowded. It’s the kind of place where mornings start with a quiet walk and evenings end with a breeze off the water.

One of the biggest reasons we chose this location is the convenience. It’s a short walk to The Big Store and the beach, which makes vacations simple and stress‑free. Guests can grab groceries, beach gear, or anything they forgot without needing to drive far. At the same time, the home is a short distance to local stores, shops, and restaurants, giving you easy access to everything you need while still keeping the peaceful, tucked‑away feel that makes this area special.

We also love how close the neighborhood is to everything the peninsula offers — fishing, boating, beachcombing, golf‑cart cruising, and family‑friendly activities. The area has a laid‑back coastal charm that’s hard to find anywhere else. It’s a place where families return year after year, and we’re grateful to share it with guests who appreciate the same easygoing lifestyle we enjoy.
